Kilo:

I wake up and my ears begin to ring as well as a pain in my head.

This was worse than when I fell from heaven.

But here I am once again on grass but i'm dressed appropriately this time. I slowly get up and begin to walk forward, I think.

I reach a pavement and a carriage rides past me. My put my hand to my head as the pains worsens.

The same carriage turns around and rides towards me. The door opens and a tall man with stoic handsome features comes out.

He smiles at me and I feel my heart warm up.

If it wasn't for my angel I wouldn't feel guilty about this feeling.

"Do you need a ride ma'am?" He asks and I nod. He walks over and grabs my hand in his. I step into the carriage and he closes the door.

There is a women who looks young in the back.

"What is your name?" I ask him and he looks over at me.

"My name is Joseph and my daughters name is Isabella." He says and I look at the young girl.

A man with a single child in this era? That's different but in a good way.

"My name is- my name is- Veronica." I say and he looks at me with squinted eyes. I can't say Kilo.

"Your daughter is the cutest." I tell him and the girl giggles in the back.

"Is there a place I can take you?" Joseph asks me and I clear my throat in thought.

"Um- I don't-" I start to say and he looks at me with squinted eyes.

"You are homeless?" He asks and I nod.

"Well, I have a small house you can stay in for the time being, if that's what you would like?" He asks and I nod eagerly.

A single father with more than one home. Isabella must be living the life.

Joseph pulls up to a house. It is small but big for this time period.

"Thank you so much." I say and he smiles at me.

"Anything for the pretty lady." He says and I smile. It's not the same. The feeling isn't as strong as when I am with Lucifer but I feel something.

I step out of the carriage and walk to the front of the house. Joseph and Isabella follow close behind me. I push the front door open and am immediately surrounded by warmth.

It is a small cozy house that I wouldn't mind staying in for the time being. I'm sure Lucifer has started searching for me. I didn't expect him to follow us to the Dungeon but he is full of surprises.

"Do you like it?" The little girl asks and I nod my head while smiling softly at her.

"I really do and I especially enjoy the daisies growing in the field outside." I say and she smile sweetly. So sweet she could melt my heart but I'd still die of diabetes.
