"One day I'll weep for this. One of these days I'll start to cry."

Rowan hit the Bludger with every ounce of her strength, sending it soaring through the air at towards the unhappy and very shocked face of Goyle.

When it struck him in the shoulder, leaving him spinning out on his broom, Rowan threw an arm up in victory. It always made her feel good seeing one of those goons finally take one to the ground, or even to just see them disoriented like great, large flies.

She watched Crabbe strike a Bludger towards Ginny and Rowan was off, dodging around her Chasers as she tried to beat the impact that would surely knock Gryffindor off their pedestal, and that was not going to happen.

Ginny turned but Rowan was already there. She swung her bat and knocked the Bludger off course.

"Thanks," breathed Ginny, coming to Rowan's side. She pointed towards one of the Slytherin Chasers and said, quickly, "Aim for Zabini, it'll knock him off course and give us an opening straight to the goals."

Rowan nodded and was off. She flew, practically nose diving for the Bludger soaring through the air. When she hit it, it struck true to her target. It smashed into Blaise's broom, splintering the tip and he was gone, spiraling towards the ground and Ginny was swooping in and scoring.

Rowan cheered, throwing an arm in the air.

Her eyes ran over the field, spotting Harry soaring towards the snitch. She followed him with her eyes just for a moment before she spotted her sneaky Bludger. The Slytherins always thought they were so clever, taking the bats from their Beaters and passing them around.

But Rowan wasn't one to play dirty like them and she took her frighteningly slow time until the ball was back in her court. She was angry Draco had decided to abandon his Quidditch duties in favor of fixing the cabinet but she could spot her blonde headed partner in crime amongst the shouting crowd of Slytherin.

It made the hit of her next Bludger even more satisfying, even when its twin was hurtled through the air and towards her. She took the hit like a champ, she would not scream or cry out.

Pain pierced through her shoulder like a bullet and she knew her shoulder had to have been dislocated by the vibrant flashes of burning, but she gritted her teeth and clung tightly to her broom with her thighs.

She went after the Bludger now aimed for Harry and it was easy to fly right up next to him and hit off the iron ball, and she screamed at the movement caused to her shoulder as she did so. She pressed her good hand to the wound, feeling the throbbing through her gloves and pads. She was going to get Goyle back for his own attempt at payback.

Slytherin was always their most violent match. It didn't matter if Draco was playing or not, the game always ended in injuries. This time around, it seemed to be the Slytherin team falling to pieces without their fearless Seeker.

She noticed Ron making a daring save in goal, and then another and another as the Slytherin Chasers desperately tried to get past him. Rowan grinned through her pain, Harry had made a brilliant choice putting Ron as Keeper, although during breakfast, it seemed that Harry had given Ron something to help ease his nerves. But Rowan saw Harry slip the true vial back into his pocket with a clever wink.

Rowan kept her hand to her shoulder and pushed down gently, wincing at the sting and feeling how it had already begun to swell. It was impossible to move and she could only hope as she stalked the field for Harry, praying that he would grab the snitch and end the match.
