Hey everyone! Sorry for the LONG, LONG wait. I've had so much going on with my personal life, school, and so forth. But everything's coming back together, little by little now, so hopefully updates will become more consistent :)
Please comment and vote!!! And give advice if you feel I need it :)

“Dr. Polanski called, sweetie,” my mom said as she walked in to my room without even knocking.
I groaned into my fuzzy pillow. I didn’t want to be woken up. I just wanted to continue sleeping. I had put off seeing him for the last three days. He had kept calling my phone, but I guess when he realized I wasn’t going to answer, the parent’s phone was the way to go.
“Why did he call?” I asked, even though I had already known the answer.
“He wants to go over some stuff.”
“Stuff?”
“Yeah, that’s all I know, now get up, and I know you’ve been ignoring his calls and we’re going to discuss that later, missy,” she said in her strict yet calm motherly voice.
“Discuss what?” a teenage boy’s voice asked and that voice just so happened to belong to Elijah.
“Nothing,” my mom and I said in unison.
My face was no longer snuggled into my pillow and blankets had now fallen off of me making me feel ice cold.
He shrugged, took a bite out of the apple that was in his hands, and muttered, “Whatever.”
“Like I said, get up,” she said again, closing my door.
I didn’t want to go to the hospital to go over some stuff. I just wanted to do what I would’ve normally done on a Saturday, dreadful homework, and hangout with my friends or Daniel, but no, I had to spend, probably, the next few hours in a hospital. Hospitals suck. This will now be the third time I’ve been in the matter of a week and a half. That’s the same amount as I had been before in the seventeen years I’ve existed! One of those times counting when I was born!
“Allie!” my mother yelled, knocking me out of my train of thoughts.
“I’m up, I’m up!” I called back, pushing myself out of my bed. I grabbed the first matching outfit I saw, threw my hair up and didn’t even bother with my makeup today.
I made my way down the creaky, hard wood floor steps and sat down next to Ian in the kitchen.
“You look,” Ian said as if he was searching for the right words but they weren’t coming to him.
“Sick?” I suggested, feeling irritated. I shouldn’t be feeling irritated though, I had just slept for twelve hours and to be quite frank, he was just telling the truth.
“Yeah,” he said bluntly. I shrugged my shoulders, I just didn’t care.
“Dad had to go into work so it’ll just be us two today,” my mom said, pouring herself a glass of milk.
“Just you two? Where are you going?” Ian asked as he munched on his cereal.
“Chew with your mouth closed, Ian,” mom warned, ignoring his question and walking away.
“What was that all about? The past few days she’s been weird,” he asked, I just shrugged. I know I shouldn’t keep things from my brothers but I just felt like I had to. I know that they’d be there for me but in a weird way, I don’t want them to.
