After the incident at SHIELD, Steve told Bucky he could take a week's break. Especially since he had almost lost Loki. SHIELD began to respect Loki for his bravery, which was a good thing for the both of them. They allowed Loki to have a bit more freedom. He was usually only allowed out of the house so many hours a week mainly because SHIELD was afraid of him congregating with HYDRA or anyone else out to get them. Now they were allowing him to do what he wanted, and so with Bucky taking a break from SHIELD, they decided to take a trip. Take a trip nowhere, actually. They both decided that they should just stay at home since Bucky doesn't stay home hardly.
It was morning and they were getting ready to their first day of staying home. They had both taken a shower and gotten dressed. Bucky smiled at Loki as they sat on the couch, "You excited that I get to stay with you for a week?"
"Of course. I finally get to spend a few days with you." Loki said and crossed his arms, "SHIELD keeps taking you away."
Bucky laughed, "Then I'll be sure to make up for all that lost time." He nudged Loki with a half smirk.
The trickster rolled his eyes with a smile, "You better." He looked over and noticed the smirk. His smile faded and he shook his head, "You're ridiculous."
"I know I am." Bucky chuckled, "But you don't seem to mind." He put his arm around him and grinned.
Loki scooted closer slowly. He sighed, "Afraid not."
Bucky kissed his forehead, "Good." He laid his forehead against Loki's shoulder and smiled. He closed his eyes. It was moments like this where he could be alone with him that made him feel like he was in a whole other world. Though Loki was still a bit shy about the whole 'love' emotion he was feeling, Bucky couldn't care less. He knew it'd take some getting used to when you have such a cold heart, but even still he knew Loki had a heart. He felt it beating in his ear. He smiled slightly.
Loki rolled his eyes with a smile. He took Bucky's metal arm by the wrist and lifted it up to where his metal hand was on his heart. Loki laid his head against Bucky's, "I love you."
"I love you, too." Bucky said. His lips found Loki's and he smiled as he felt the trickster kiss him back. He cupped his cheek and continued to peck against his soft lips. When they broke away, he rested his forehead against Loki's. "And I always will." His hand rested on his lap.
Loki smiled, "I promise you the same, Barnes." He put a hand over Bucky's and grinned, "Anything on your mind for today?"
"This afternoon we can go have lunch and watch a movie." Bucky suggested.
Loki nodded, "Sounds perfect to me." He smiled and stood up, "Want some coffee?"
Bucky smiled, "That would be wonderful." He grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. It was on the news, talking about the attack on SHIELD. Bucky rolled his eyes and changed the channel as Loki came back with a mug of coffee.
"Here..." Loki handed him his mug and grinned, "I cooled it down for you."
Bucky raised an eyebrow, "Magic?"
Loki nodded, "You could say that." He took his seat beside Bucky and bit his lip. He was hiding something from him. He was afraid if he showed him his Jotun form that Bucky would call him a freak. He took a sip of his coffee and looked down.
Bucky heard his phone go off. He saw it was a text from Steve asking him if he was enjoying his day. He chuckled and replied before sitting it down, "Steve sure likes to check up on me."
"Yes, yes he does." Loki nodded. He heard Bucky's phone go off again and raised an eyebrow, "Now what does he want?"
Bucky smiled at his phone, "Steve was wondering if we would want to go to Coney Island with him, the guys, and Nat later."
