Audrey

When I woke up I was met with a pair of very broad shirt clad shoulders. I smiled a little at the sight and remembered the night before.. I must say it was.. Daring and I'd normally never do anything of the sort but.. It felt so right to do..
I decided to let Jack sleep a little longer as I slowly got up from the bed. My back and my shoulder hurt.. The mattress was hard.. I don't know if i could get used to that.. I slowly walked over to my clothes, cringing everytime a floorboard creaked.. I didn't want to wake him up..
I made it to my clothes and quietly put everything on, including my corset, hat and coat. Then I left the room and quietly closed the door behind me. I went downstairs, and it was quite full in the lobby.. Or whatever they called it here.. People turned their heads to look at me and a few gave me a dirty look. I didn't understand why, but I figured it was because I'm a stranger..

I greeted a few people and then left the place, stepping outside and putting my hat on my head. I must say, for a woman I really stand out like a sore thumb, but my dad said this outfit was just fine.. I breathed in the morning air of this place and honestly it smells a little bad.. But that's probably just my problem..
I took a little stroll through the small town and the amount of dirty looks I was getting was making me uncomfortable.. I hope the people down in Tombstone are at least a little nicer.. I went back to one of the only places I had seen before.. The Saloon.. I probably should have waited for Jack, but I was getting really thirsty..
I stepped inside and again, just as in the hotel.. People turned their heads to me when I walked in, giving me a death stare. I saw the lady from last night and gave her a wave. Eleanore was her name if I remember correctly.
She did seem happy to see me and gestured for me to come over to the bar, which I did.

When I sat down she bent over the bar, her head close to mine. "Don't mind them, darlin'.. They're just jealous." She winked at me and I gave her a half assed smile. "Now, what can I get you, love." She said in a sweeter tone than yesterday. "Just water, please." I asked in my most polite tone. She gave me a nod and went to get it for me. I sat down on a stool, tapping my fingers on the bar softly. But I still felt eyes burn in my back.
"hey you!" I heard someone say, but didnt feel like it was aimed at me until I heard someone speak again. "Hey! You. With the red hair!" Okay so now I'm almost sure they were talking to me. I stepped off the stool and turned around. The moment I did that, a very nasty looking man with missing teeth and an unkept beard stepped in front of me. He stunk really bad and I was trying to keep my distance.
"People like you ain't welcome in our town, girl." I was so confused. What did he mean with that..? And a bunch of others stood up and agreed with him. I suddenly felt very nervous and regretted that I didn't wake Jack up to come with me..

I swallowed hard and I built up the courage to speak. "People like me, Sir..?" I asked cautiously. He scoffed and spit right in front of my boots. "A whore witch." He hissed through his teeth and I just stared at him. The fuck did he just call me..? "I'm sorry, what?" I was completely baffled and he and the group of men around him just laughed. I looked over my shoulder to see Eleanore look at me with a concerned look on her face.
"It's a dumb whore witch. Now that'll make it easy." He said and his breath smelled so bad I couldn't help but wrinkle my nose. He didn't seem phased by that but I cleared my throat. "I don't know who you are, Sir, and I assume you don't know me. So I will kindly ask you to piss off and suck it." I said confidently as I gave him a mean stare. Now okay that pissed him off. His face turned a new shade of red and I heard the other men talking. "Now girl. Didn't your daddy teach you not to talk back?" he asked with gritted teeth. And oh well since I had pissed him off already anyway.. "Yes. But only to people who don't smell like a dead raccoon, fucker." I hissed at him, and I heard Eleanore gasp behind me.
The man raised his hand and I knew what was going to happen so I braced for impact.

Jack

I woke up because of the darned light shining into my face. I rolled over in bed, expectin' Audrey to still be there.. But she wasn't.. I sat up and looked around the room and noticed her clothes were gone.. She wouldn't just.. have left.. Right..?
No. Not her. I don't know why but for some weird reason I found it strange she was gone. So I got dressed, and fast.
I pulled my boots on and left the room, runnin' down the stairs, to nearly bump into Johnny. "Good Morning Jack, did you sleep well?" I stared at the little man and gave him a quick nod. "Have you seen Audrey..?" I asked him and his eyes twitched a little when I said her name. Johnny shrugged and pointed at the door. "She left a while ago. I don't expect her to come back." He was holding something back so I glared at him. "Did she tell you where she was headin'?" Johnny shook his head and shrugged his shoulders again.
