The next day Anna was back at school. I was so relieved that she was back, I had been so lonely for the last few days. Anna seemed to know everything that she missed but when I asked her how she knew she just shook her head at me and denied everything.
"Anna please tell me, I thought I was your best friend." I told her in a rush to which she answered me by saying,
"Elizabeth you know you are my best friend and I promise you I will tell you when the time is right."
A while later I got to go home and Anna was coming with me. I was so relieved that I would be able to ask her in private.
When we got home I took her up to my room. Once we had finished all our home work Natalie shouted up from the kitchen, " dinner is in 5 minutes girls." Once she had shouted this Anna looked really awkward.
"Anna what is wrong?" I asked her to which I was told.
"promise you won't tell anyone that I told you?' I nodded my head in agreement, she followed up by telling me,
" alright here goes." She built up a huge suspense before actually telling me.
"guys dinner," Natalie shouted up and we went sprinting down the stairs. We were like hunters chasing their pray.
