I walked through to the kitchen to discover Natalie was on the phone. Once she was off she took me through to the living room, guiding me by the shoulders. She shooed the others from the room and then she spoke,
"Elizabeth it's your parents, they are alive."
I looked at her with a look of disbelief and shock.
"are you kidding me on?" I asked her mainly because she likes making jokes with us.
"no I am deadly serous." She told me, "go and pack your suitcase and I will take you home." I barely gave her a second look as I was sprinting up the stairs to pack my suitcase.
About an hour later she put me in the car and drove me home. It wasn't far from were I had been staying with them.
" Elizabeth I promise you we will stay in touch and we can tell Anna were your house is okay?" I was so close to tears that I gave her a big hug and then followed her out of the car. My mum came running and gave me a huge hug. My dad then came running out and picked me up.
