Night Terrors

Valentina POV

"Strap her down now don't let her move grab her arm!!!" "LET ME GO PLEASE IM SORRY STOP TOUCHING ME" the doctor stuck a needle in my arm "this is going to make you better and take that x gene away" he said injecting me but all it did was just bring back flashes of the night my parents were taken away" "please make it stop" "maybe we should go and find her little sister and help her too.". "Don't touch her!!" I shot out of my bed to see Issy getting strapped down "GET OFF OF HER!!" I growled with my eyes glowing red "WAKE UP VALENTINA" I heard Marco yell I opened my eyes and saw Mrs Strucker curled up in a ball. 

"Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you" I reached out and she flinched. I stepped back grabbed my earbuds, phone, and shoes then left.

Marco POV

Me and John were sitting in the living room looking for different routes to get to the prison without being noticed when we heard shifting upstairs all of a sudden we heard a scream and ran up stairs. It was coming from Valentina's room as we were walking in so we're the Struckers " please make it stop" we heard her cry then things started shaking but I was weird cause it was only her room that was shaking.

"Don't touch her!!" She yelled do you think we should wake her up Andy asked "yeah we definitely should" Kate said walking straight up to her but when she did Valentina shot out of bed" and looked like she was seeing something the she yelled "GET OFF OF HER!!" Her powers pushing Kate to the ground when Valentina finally woke up she was so sorry and when Kate flinched she just left. 

"Okay what the hell was that she's a psycho" Lauren said. "That is enough Lauren enough she is here to help us and she doesn't even like us . So if I hear 1 more rude thing come out your mouth god so help me."

"What that little girl just experienced was a night terror which is caused by sever trauma and probably not the 1st one someone needs to go out there with her" "I'll go"John said "I have experience with troubled teens". "Okay we'll be here when you get back and try your hardest to make sure she knows it not her fault and I'm not mad" "alright" John said walking out the door.

John's POV

I followed her sent all the way to the middle of the woods and saw her beating the shit out of a poor tree till she she started yelling and getting it all out. "I'm pretty sure all the trees for the next 3 miles were blown down" she chuckled "yeah". "So do you want to talk about what happened in there" I asked kicking around a small rock. "No I just need to go pick up some medication from a shop not to far from here it helps with the nightmares" "Valentina Kate is a nurse who knows a lot about medicine and stuff and she said that that wasn't just a nightmare it was a night terror caused by trauma." "Well she's wrong it was just a nightmare every gets them" she said smiling "calm down I'm fine". She started to walk away "oh and Kate wanted me to let you know that she's not mad at all she was just a little spooked" "okay tell her I said thanks I'll be back in an hour".

Andy POV hours later

I was sitting in front of the building when I heard foot steps coming "hey Andy what's going on" Valentina skipped up to me and asked. "Nothing I just wanted to make sure your okay" "Aw you're worrying about little old me" she said batting her eyelashes "Andy I'm cool stop worrying your thoughts are giving me a headache" she said laughing "okay okay fine"

"So how about you tell me what your powers are you never did tell me." she said pushing my arm a little. "Um I kind of tear stuff apart like- you know what it's better if I just show you".

 I walked over to light post and focused all my energy on the post and got mad after a few seconds all of the light posts exploded "h-h-holy shit that was amazing" Valentina said clapping for me yeah it was just supposed to stay at one lightbulb" "oh that's fine you just need a little practice here" she stopped grabbing my hand and lifting it to a small tree "now close one eye and focus on the tree not the anger you feel just calm down". I took a deep breath and focused on the tree. 

"Ready now just let it flow through you and hit the tree like lightning."  I took a deep breath and let it flow a little then shove it I ended up hitting two trees "good job and my much better" "what do you mean I hit two not just the one" "I know but that's better the whole lot of light posts right. It's the little victories that matter when it comes to our powers alright" "yeah you're right" "okay' she hugged me "now let's go eat I'm starving then we can start with the plan to get Lorna back."

Valentina POV
I hope she not just pretending to be okay. We really should get her some help. How can she help with the missions if she's traumatized? Is she really the Masked mutant? She's so young."You guys know I can hear you thoughts right so you mine as well just say it out loud" I said looking up from my bowl of cereal to see Marco, John, the Struckers, and two women I haven't meet yet.

"Hi I'm Valentina you guys are?" I asked reaching my hand out oh hi I'm Clarice this is Sonya I have to say your speech really got me thinking." "Nice to meet you and I hope it did. Now we need to go over the plan on how we're going to get Lorna out of prison. Do you guys know where she's being held?"

"Yeah from the little information we got she's being held at The Garland Detention Center" "okay good we know where she is John who do you think here is most capable of assisting us on the mission I'm leaving picking the team to you we leave tomorrow say your prayers or whatever you do to prep I'm going to look over the plan again you guy have a good night."

"You need to get sleep too" Andy said "I know I just need to make sure this plan is bulletproof  we can not fail"  "I understand but still please" Andy said pleading. "Alright just give me 20 more minutes then I'll go to bed." I said giving him a quick hug "night" "night".
