The Truth

Val's POV

When we got out the car and made our way to the house I could hold in my anger anymore. I ran up to him turned him in my direction and punch the shit out of him.

"OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING". Mrs. Strucker said trying to pull me off.

"I knew we were saving a human but you if I knew it was you I would have left you there to rot fucking Reed Von Strucker" I said kicking him in his side. by now there was a crowd of people Andy and Lauren just walked up to see what was happening.

"Val what are you doing" Andy asked getting closer to me. "So since everyone is here why don't I tell you a little something about Reed" I said putting my hand through my hair.

"When I was 9 me and my family were walking home from dinner when this group of anti mutants started following us. When they got to us one of them pulled a knife started swinging it at us. The others circled around us, my dad tried to talk them down but they just hated us so much they didn't care.

When one of them went after my sister my dad used his powers to push them away and I used my powers to make sure they stayed down till the police came thinking if we had them here the police would help. But one of them got hurt so when police got there they said we attacked them and of course they believed them.

We were put in a cop car and taken to this jail like place and there he was Reed in his blue and black suit. He came to try and talk to us into saying we were guilty but we told him no that we didn't do anything wrong and had proof. See as we were getting put into the cop car I looked up and saw a camera pointing at us we had proof. But come court date the video was never played and my parent got taken away. They put me in a psych ward where they experimented on me for 3 year. I had no clue where Izzy was or what happened to my parents for THREE FUCKING YEARS"! I was crying now

"When I finally escaped I found out that Izzy was here so I came and got her and had been raising her since. AT 13 I WAS RAISING MY LITTLE SISTER ALL BY MYSELF BECAUSE OF YOU, MY PARENTS ARE GONE CAUSE OF YOU. REED VON STRUCKER I SWEAR TO GOD IF I EVER HEAR YOU HURT ANOTHER MUTANT EVER AGAIN I'M GOING TO BURN YOU FROM THE INSIDE OUT." My eyes were glowing half red half blue I got up and walked away out the door and took of.

Andy's POV

"Please tell me she's lying" I said looking at my dad in disgust. He looked down at the ground shaking his head. "Wow just wow" I said throwing my hand up in the air.

"Now wait he might have a reason" my mom said as the other mutants started yelling and cussing at him. "What reason could he have had?" Soyna said trying to get answers while keeping everyone calm. Everyone sat quietly waiting for my dads explanation.

My dad lifted up his head looking me in the eye then turning away.

"When I 1st started as a prosecutor. I had a mentor John Christenaldo he was a mutant prosecutor that had been there way longer than anyone else at the firm knew everyone he could definitely get me a good spot when I started. I needed a good spot we were running low on money and couldn't pay the bills. So he took me under his wing taught me everything he knew but while I was working with him I realized that he truly hated mutants his trials were never fair. "

"So when I got the case regarding Val- " I stopped him "you have no right to call her that you call her Valentina".

My dad took a deep breath "So when I got Valentina's case like she said I tried to give them an easy way out but they just wouldn't take it." That's when Valentina told me about the cameras I knew they had evidence but I ignored it come court day and I have to live with that decision the rest of my life"

I was honestly shocked this man can't be my father my father would never do something like that. "Wow" was all I could say as I stormed out after Val I have to find her.
