Val's Diary

"Its been 2 months since I decide to stay with Andy and honestly I could not be happier. Yeah we go on missions and live in the shadows now, but we're there for each other and I can count on him and he for damn sure can count on me.

I was thinking of  asking him to be my boyfriend later today since we haven't really talked about it since the kiss but I really really like him and I know he likes me too and mama ain't raise no bitch so guess i'll just have to be the one to ask .

Anyways today-"

"Hey whatca writing" Clarice said jumping on my bed "nothing scar face" I said pushing her dirty shoes of my bed.

"She's probably writing about her little boyfriend that she loves so so very much" Soyna said making a baby voice and squishing her cheeks. I just rolled my eyes

Lately me, Clarice, and Soyna have been getting really close they're like older sisters to me. They'll never replace Izzy but it feels good to have somewhat of a family.

I don't know why but for a while now every time I'm next to Clarice it's like I can feel her mind over lapping and I'm not sure why.

Usually I would have just read her mind then helped her, but they made me promise not to do that to them.

So for now I'm just going to have to wait it out until I can figure out what's wrong or it become too dangerous.

"Yeah by the way how is it going with your high school sweetheart" blink said winking at me.

"Well I was going to ask him to be boyfriend since were already basically dating". Just like I expected they stated squealing I didn't even think Clarice knew how to squeal.

"Hey what's going on I heard yelling are you okay?" Andy said coming in and sitting on my bed. "Yeah were fine that was just Clarice's disturbing attempt at squealing".  " Leave her alone it's not her fault she sounds like a cat getting mauled by a bear" Sonya said laughing at her.

"You know what screw both off you my squeal is impeccable" Clarice said laughing while trying to look serious.

"Whatever hey can you guys go out real quick I want to talk to Andy for a second." I said raising my eyebrows so they would take the hint.

"Sure we'll get out so you can talk to yo boo" Clary said laughing as they left.

"What did you want to talk to me about" Andy said rubbing his thumb on my hand.

"Well you know since the kiss we have gotten really close, so much closer than I've been with anyone in a really long time." I said looking up to see his reaction to what I was about to say. Just to realize he wasn't even listening

"Hey whats going on" I said putting my hand on his cheek. " Oh uh nothing i'm fine " he said choking up. "Are you sure?  You know you can tell me anything were in this together remember". 

"Val I said i'm fine just finish what you were trying to tell me" he said trying to put on a smile but I could clearly tell it was fake but I didn't want to push.

"Um well I was trying to say that we have gotten really close lately and I wanted to know-" I look up and this time he's not even looking at me. "Dude come on just tell me what's wrong you're clearly upset about something".

He took a few seconds just looking down at our  hands and smiling . I would have just read his mind but I really like him and would never do that without him saying it's okay.
