CHAPTER SEVEN!
endless her

"What the fuck just happened"

THEY HAD SAID THEY LOVED EACH OTHER FOUR MONTHS AFTER BECOMING AN ITEM. It wasn't very romantic- not at all actually. Valerie had done her very common thing of blurting something out when she wasn't thinking correctly. She was lucky Will had felt the same way or it would've been the end of their relationship.

Some- mainly Sirius- would say it was too fast for them and they should've taken their sweet time, but they couldn't. Valerie loved Will and Will loved Valerie, simple as that. There wasn't any contracts or anything, just them. Just two love birds finishing school and moving on with their life.

Something held her back from the fairytale love story, however. She didn't accept the gorgeous promise ring Will gave her. Soemthing in her gut was telling Valerie to not put it on, to not make the promise. She never placed a finger on the wrenching feeling. All she did was tell Will she didn't need a ring to know she loved him.

Valerie had no idea why her mind didn't allow her to put the beautiful ring on. Instead it made her break Will's heart. He had said he forgave her on multiple occasions but she didn't know if he was telling the truth or not- but that's Will. He

She was truly an asshole.

Valerie sighed as she fiddled with the end of her braids. Honestly, she was ready to go further with Will but there wasn't any further they could go.

Well... there was marriage but Valerie couldn't even accept a promise ring. If Will did propose, she genuinely thinks she would say no. Maybe she would say the three letter word in the future... like four years.

She just needs time.

Valerie will always have time. She will always gratefully be on times side. In a war, she would defend time. She knew the subject better than anyone else considering they were in cahoots.

Time gave her the ability to know the future and the burden of holding the past, present, and future all on her shoulders whilst she attempts to live a normal life. As normal as a witches life could be.

The wind echoes through the open window, blowing her face with the coldness. Even though it was early in the school year, the cold was already nipping at their ears. Along with the cold, Hogsmeade days were coming around the corner and her and Will were planning to go on a date. Since Sirius didn't allow the two to see each other all summer so they were quite in need of some Valerie-Will time.
