CHAPTER TWELVE!
endless her

"You were two gay guys in the '70s who hooked up every other day"

WILL AND VALERIE NEVER FAUGHT. Okay, there were the small arguments that slipped through the cracks- but, that's on the contrary! the arguments were stupid things like who was going to pay for the butterbeer, irrelevant. They were- in Valerie's humble opinion- the perfect couple.

However, said perfect couple's man in the relationship refused to speak to the woman. Whilst she had no prior memories of the night before, she knew from Ron that Will and Harry had gotten into a small argument that ended with Valerie leaving both of them behind. she didn't know what compelled Will to stop speaking to her. It wasn't her fault she and Harry were such great friends- they were the Marauder children. It was in their blood to be best friends.-

Now, the only issue on her plate was Valerie knew something with WIll wasn't right. But, she also couldn't bring herself to break it off with him. In her honest defense, she and Will were the couple! They both loved each other and what was wrong with one loving a bit more than the other. RIght... Valerie was just confused. iN a few weeks, everything would be back to normal and she and will would go on their dandy ways.

Biting her lip, Valerie entered Remus's classroom. She was meant to be in her own class but every student skipped a class at least once! She could totally take the disappointment from Hermione if it meant she got to talk to her papa during his free period.

While speaking to Remus about her boy issues wasn't ideal... she knew she could trust the man with her secrets. It was something she always did, talking to Remus when she was upset. Others may have seen him as the poor-looking professor and others that knew his secret, a monster. But, to Valerie Remus was the man who tucked her asleep every night and checked under the bed for monsters- Sirius was always too scared to do it.

"Papa?" She muttered as she opened up the door to the DADA classroom. It was like any other classroom with various objects littered around it. Windows were on every wall, lighting the room up a good amount. The tables were set prestigiously and at the front rested one long table that Remus was sat at. He was drinking coffee... or tea with his nose in a book. "Papa," Valerie said louder to catch his attention.

He looked up, eyebrows furrowed. "Valerie?" He spoke in a questioning tone, "You're meant to be in class right now. What is it- Herbology?"

She nodded courtly, holding up the chocolate bar she had brought for one reason, "I knew you would be upset... so I'm blackmailing you with chocolate- is that even the definition of blackmailing? I don't know, but here's chocolate, so you cannot be mad at me." Valerie mumbled through her ranting.
