TW: VISIONS OF DEATH, DEATHCHAPTER TWENTY!
— endless her"Quote from the chapter"
SHE LAID WITH HER HEAD ON HIS LAP AS HE DID ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF HOMEWORK. He would run a hand through her curls at times. She didn't necessarily like him messing up her hair but never told him to stop. Her mind was in various places, mainly on Black's army.
Training had been going well. Some students, mainly Neville bless his heart, had a few issues learning certain spells. Others caught on immediately and knew just the things to do. Harry, being one of the leaders, not only had to deal with the work of Black's army but also school and his recent rondivers with Valerie.
Now, it wasn't that either of them had taken notice of the feelings that were obviously there. It was actually quite on the contrary that Valerie just believed her and harry and become closer friends if that was even possible.
Harry was fully aware of the feelings he had for her. She was not. NOt even in the slightest bit, really. Valerie had never seen her and Harry as more than friends but the longer she waited about for her true love, the more the signs came to her.
Now, Valerie could see the future but she still didn't know how the hell love worked. And sure, she liked to believe, much like James, that she knew a lot. Maybe she wasn't the best at potions and was blind when it came to feelings, but, she is Valerie Lupin-Black so of course, she's gonna have strong feelings towards her self-esteem.
She just couldn't stand the thought of not knowing who her future would be with. And now? She's not even sure that she'll have much of a future. It was all up to Onyx and how badly he wanted her gone.
She believed it was quite a large amount; more murders had happened since January than Voldemort in five months. These murders spanned from muggles and muggle-borns to purebloods. A lot of parents had pulled their children out of Hogwarts to protect them from home.
However, they were only making it worse. With many nights spent groaning in frustration and arguing with a wall, Valerie had concluded that undead spirits were killing Onyx. There was no way- demon-wizard (merlin that sounds stupid to any normal person) or not- he could be in all those places at once. He would need a strong power to control that and surprise, the undead was the perfect candidate.
Valerie got lost in her thoughts, slowly drifting off. And as she got lost in a world that was meant to be built of mythical creatures and happy endings, she fell into the deep obis that were the future. Valerie rarely had dreams or nightmares. She either went without them or would wake up petrified.
