He had been blacking out on the ground when he had heard his crush and boss say it, he could remember the moment clearly, he had just been defeated by the cup brothers and when they went to confront his boss, he called him a good for nothing lackey. He was shocked, to say the least, he had never heard his boss call him that before. He didn't stay to see what happened, he got up, swaying as he tried to walk on unsteady legs, and made his way to the dock, he didn't even bother to pack his things.

"One ticket to Blackburn City pl-please." He said to the person selling ferry tickets as he put down enough to cover the ticket cost. And just like that, he was given a ticket and a way home, he'd wait until he got to the city to call his friends, he had plenty that had told him if he ever needed a place to stay to give them a ring. He nearly passed out on the long ferry ride, but he didn't let himself, knowing all too well that if he did he would die on that ferry. He couldn't stop himself from crying though, hot tears streamed down his cold face, he didn't have the energy to wipe them away. He eventually stumbled onto the dock and went to the payphone and called up one of his friends. And soon enough, his friend was there, ushering him into his car and taking him straight to the hospital. Once there, Dice promptly passed out, trusting that the doctors would deal with him. He didn't care if he died now, he was too tired to care.
