"Dice?" The Devil said, looking at him.
"Hm?" Dice said as he looked over, his smile faded, and a light blush dusted his cheeks as he noticed the suit the devil was wearing, he never got to see him in suits often but he always looked stunning when he wore them, "What are you doin' here? I told you to stay away from me."
"Dice, I was so worried, who is this shmuck?" He said, ignoring his question.
"Who?" Dice started only to get cut off, before he could turn around to see his new boss.
"I'm his owner." His boss replied with a smirk as his hand snakes around King Dice's waist, causing him to squeak and squirm.
"Bullshit, Dice wouldn't willingly get with someone like you, he's too classy for that." The Devil said with a snarl
"Well, he's been very compliant and willing, he even agreed to be mine, for the right price." He said with a smirk, lying through his teeth, not understanding that he was talking to the literal devil.
"Let my Dice go, I own his soul, in case you forgot that Dice, so yeah, I don't care what deal you two have made, he's coming with me." The Devil said, beyond angry.
"I will be doing no such thing Dev. I doubt you even still have it. And why do you want me back so bad? You said it yourself, I'm a good for nothin' lackey, useless, so just leave me alone." Dice responds as he struggles to get away from his new boss, only to be grabbed by the Devil, being pulled close to him.
"I still have it, Dice, those lousy cups didn't bother to free you. So you're stuck with me." The Devil said, throwing Dice over his shoulder and carrying him out, Dice started to thrash, only to receive a harsh slap to his ass, "Quit it."
Dice held back a moan and stopped, hanging his head in defeat, he hated this, he didn't know if he was happy to be taken or mad about it, at least he wouldn't have to be some random jerks fuck toy but he had no clue what the Devil planned to do with him. He wondered if the other workers were still around and if they'd be mad at him for leaving too. He sighed, feeling tears well up in his eyes.
"Where's your apartment?" The Devil asked.
"What?"
"You're apartment, where is it? Surely you must have something there you want to keep." The Devil responded.
Dice shook his head, "There ain't nothin' there that's worth keepin'. All my valuable stuff is still in my room at your Casino."
"You sure?" The Devil questioned, he hadn't even bothered to look in Dice's room for his belongings.
"Positive, I've only been here for two months, all I've got in that apartment is some clothes and a bed." Dice responded.
The Devil hummed in response, making his way towards the ferry.
"Can you put me down Dev?"
"First of all, it's boss or sir to you, not Dev. Second, are you gonna try to run away once I do?"
"No sir, I won't." Dice responded, the Devil read Dice's thoughts before putting him down.
"Stay close," The Devil commanded, Dice nodded and stayed close, not wanting to worsen whatever punishment he was sure he was going to receive.
Soon enough, they were on a ferry on their way back to Inkwell, Dice wouldn't look at the Devil, he stared sadly at Blackburn City until it faded from view, he sighed and looked at his feet after that, not saying anything. The Devil on the other hand was overjoyed to have Dice back with him, though he didn't show it, he kept his angry demeanor and fully intended to lock Dice up for a while as punishment. He hoped that Dice would be willing to help him get the Casino fixed up after his punishment was over but he guessed it didn't matter, Dice would have to help him, he didn't have a choice.
Soon enough they were back at the Casino. They stood at the entrance, just staring for a few moments before the Devil finally spoke, "You will be locked in your room for two months, alone, that's how long you were gone for so that's how long you'll be trapped."
Dice felt a panic set over him, tears welling up in his eyes, "S-sir- please." he said quietly and shakily. But the Devil didn't hear him, he forcibly dragged him to his room before throwing him onto his bed, he slammed the door shut and locked it. Dice ran to the door sobbing and banging on it, "Pl-please no! Boss! Please let me out! I'm sorry! I never should have left! Please don't leave me here! Please." It didn't take him long to realize that it didn't matter, his boss had forgotten how much he hated being locked up or maybe he hadn't, maybe he just wanted Dice to suffer. Dice curled up in a ball by the door, sobbing quietly, begging softly to be let out and apologizing. It brought back memories of his past that he had pushed down as far as possible.
The Devil heard Dice and almost opened the door, almost, he wanted to hug Dice, and apologize for calling him a good-for-nothing lackey, but seeing him with that prick had made him so angry that he just took it out on Dice. So now the poor man was locked in his room with terrible memories flooding his head. The Devil decided to read Dice's thoughts, to see if he was faking the panic and fear, but when he did, what he heard made him feel worse. He unlocked the door and scooped Dice into his arms, "I'm so sorry, it's okay Dice, it's alright, I shouldn't have locked you up like that, even if it was only for a few minutes, it's alright."
Dice wanted to push away from him, to tell him he hated him, instead he hugged him tightly and sobbed into his shoulder, "N-no, i-it's my fault b-boss, I never should've run a-away. Y-you were only p-punishin' me for my wrong doin'."
He sighs, "No Dice, you had every right to want to leave, you thought I didn't care about you, and that's my fault, I do care, Dice, I care more than your mortal mind could comprehend."
Dice couldn't believe what he had just heard, he was too shocked to say anything so he just clings to him. The Devil takes him to his office, where he just sits with Dice on his lap, rubbing his back softly, trying to help calm him.
