King Dice sighed, peeking his head out of his room and looking around, satisfied with not seeing the Devil, he stepped out and headed down the stairs to resume cleaning. Only to find the other workers cleaning, he was confused, he couldn't find any of them before.

"What are you all doin' here? Where were y'all?" King Dice asked, surprised to see them all there.

"Bout time you came out, we thought you were gonna mope 'round all day. And we were out gettin' supplies for the Casino, the boss told us too. When we got back he started tellin' us that we had to start cleanin' up and that he had found ya but had managed to piss ya off." Wheezy said, putting an arm around Dice, "In any case, it's good to have ya back, King."

"It's good to be back Mr.Weezy, now, let's finish gettin' this place cleaned up so that we can open tomorrow. Has the Casino really been closed since I left though?" Dice asked

"Yep, boss insisted that we needed you back before we could open back up, so we've been closed for two months now, though now that you're back we can get back to normal." Mr.Wheezy replied.

King Dice couldn't help but blush and smile a little, he hadn't felt needed at all in the past 2 months. So it was nice to feel needed again. He got to work helping clean around the casino, taking an occasional break to drink and tell stories about what happened while he was gone and what he did.

"So ya really were gonna let some guy fuck you for money?" Wheezy said, barely holding back a laugh.

"No, course not, you know I'm classier than that. You know me, I'm a master manipulator, I just let him think he would." Dice replied, being snarky as usual.

"What? Is that how you became manager of this casino?" Wheezy jokes.

"I wish, but no, it took a while for me to befriend the boss and get close enough to him for that to happen, but I wouldn't trade how I got here for anythin'. Don't you go tellin' him I said this but I still love him, no matter how much of an asshole he can be or how much I say I hate him. I- I can't say I blame him for callin' me a good for nothin' lackey, that's how it goes, the strong make fun of the weak and that's that. But it just hurt so much at the time that, I couldn't think clearly." Dice said, he had been drinking a bit more than he should have so he was feeling very open, and it was Wheezy, he knew he could kill him if the need arose, but he also knew better than to totally trust him.

"King, I think he knows that ya still love 'im, he knows everythin' after all," Wheezy replied, he wouldn't tell, as far as he was concerned, it wasn't his business.

King Dice shrugs, though part of him hoped that what Wheezy had said was true, what he really hoped was that the Devil loved him back, care and love were not the same and no matter how much the Devil insisted he cared, Dice wanted to be loved, he needed to be loved, he hadn't felt loved in a long time. He wondered if he ever really had been loved or felt loved. He finishes his drink before setting his glass down and getting back to cleaning. He hadn't seen the boss since their chat earlier and he was starting to worry. He knew a lot about the Devil, more than he would ever dare tell the others, the perks of being so close to him. He continued to casually clean until around midnight, everyone else had gone to bed, even Mr.Wheezy who had insisted he would stay up with King Dice. Dice wasn't surprised, they had gotten tired from all the cleaning and they would need their rest for opening, but him? He wasn't ready to lay his bed and be alone with his thoughts just yet, so he wandered around the empty, dimly lit Casino, doing checks on everything. He finally decides that he should check if his boss was still up and give him a full report and maybe apologize for lashing out at him, he hadn't really meant it, well, most of it, curse his temper. He went to the Devil's office and knocked on the door, his signature 3 taps to the door.

The Devil smiles, knowing instantly who was at the door, he calms his smile before calling, "Come in Dice."

Dice walks in, walking up to the desk, "Well boss, thanks to the other employees, everything is all cleaned up and we'll be able to open at our regular time tomorrow."

"That's great news Dice, I've missed the Casino being open, sinners coming in and gambling to their heart's content." He sighs blissfully, "I was also wondering if you'd be willing to perform tomorrow? I missed hearing your sweet singing voice and it's been far too long since I've gotten to hear it."

"I would love to do that boss, but I don't know how good my singin' voice is, it's been a while since I've done any singin'." Dice replied, a light blush on his cheeks

"Well, why don't you sing for me now? Think of it as a test to see if your voice is still good. Besides, I already said I wanted to hear you sing." The Devil said, leaning back in his chair and kicking his feet up on his desk, looking at Dice expectantly.

Dice nodded and took a breath before starting to sing, his voice carrying a lovely melody to the Devil's ears, causing him to smile as he joined in softly singing along. When the song ended, the Devil smiled at Dice, "You sang wonderfully, as always, I'll arrange a time for you to perform tomorrow."

"Alright boss, well, if that's all I should probably head to bed." King Dice said, turning to leave.

"Actually Dice, I'd like you to stay for a little while, maybe we could play a card game? I just, I've missed you Dice and I want to spend some time with you before we get busy again." The Devil responded.

Dice turned around and nodded, pulling up a chair, "Sounds good boss. But I'll still see you when we're working again, after all, I'll have soul contracts to bring to you. And if I'm still your right hand man after all this, then I'll be in here quite often to help you run this place and hell."

Devil smirks, "Of course you are Dice, I just want to spend more lesure time with you, I don't want us to only be professionally involved."

Dice nodded again,  "I would like that boss."

"Good, now let's start the game."
