-12/02/20XX; Floor 1: Tolbana-

One month has passed since the game began. During that time, 2000 people have died. However, no one has yet been able to clear the first floor. Me and Shin used to be beta testers, and even us haven't found the boss room.

Shin: Come on. The meeting's about to start.

Kenshi: I'm coming.

And today, we're finally holding a meeting on how to defeat the first-floor boss.

* * *

"Okay, let's get started, people!"

The blue hair guy started to talk.

Diabel: Thank you for responding to my summon today. My name is Diabel. My job is...in my own mind, I like to think I'm a "knight".

Some people's laughing at him.

Player1: There's no job system in this game!

Diabel: Ahem! So I know many of you be discouraged by the fact that 2000 people have died so far...

Player1: WHAT?!

Player2: 2000 PEOPLE ARE DEAD?!

Player3: IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A MONTH YET!

Player4: OH MY GOD, WE REALLY ARE FUCKED!

Diabel: And I know even MORE of you are a little down because we even haven't cleared the first floor yet.

Player5: We haven't?!

Player4: I THOUGHT WE WERE ALMOST DONE...

Diabel: Uh, you guys do know there are 100 floors, right?

Players: WHAT?!

Diabel: Oh jeez, I am just making things worse. Anyways, our party discovered the boss room at the top of the tower.

All the players looked surprised.

Diabel: We need to defeat the boss, reach the second floor, and tell everyone waiting in the Town of Beginnings that it is possible to beat this game. And that's the duty of every one of us here now! Isn't that right, everybody?

Everyone nodded and clap at him. Not a bad plan, I guess.

Diabel: Okay. Then without further delay, I'd like to get this boss-raid meeting started. First, I want you to team up into parties of six.

Parties of what now?

Diabel: A conventional party has no chance against a Floor boss. We'll need to form a raid group using multiple parties.

I looked around. All the players already formed their parties of six.

Kenshi: I can't believe we got left out. Fantastic!

Shin: Well, we can join the party over there.

Shin pointing at the two players not so far from us.

Kenshi: I don't see why not. Come on.

Me and Shin walked to them. I could hear some conversation between them.

???: What?! But you can't do anything in this game without the menu. How have you survived all month?

???: It's... been a challenge...

Kenshi: Hello there.

???: Oh, hi.

Shin: Um, can we join your party? We're kinda been left out.

???: Like us, huh? Okay then. The more the merrier, I guess.
