Chapter 34

Death Gun dashed to Sawa and used the motion of <<Star Splash>> and performed multiple stabbed.  She took some hits from it then she quickly falls back. Death Gun charged at the two of us and began to attack us. The most we could do is block his attack but he's so fast that he managed to damage us.

He's powerful. One second... All we need is one second... If we can break this rush...

I used the skill Hawk-eyed to see the fight. If only my scope was still working...

Kenshi: I should have embraced, and never stopped contemplating the significance, the weight, of having killed them with my own hands. That would be the least I could do to make amends... That's how I see it now.

Kenshi is trying to turn his words into actions right now. By stopping with his own two hands the criminal known as Death Gun, who's still influenced by SAO's darkness. The reason Kenshi can do that isn't because he's strong. It's because he's accepted his weakness, and brooded, suffered over it... Yet despite all that, he's still trying to look straight ahead. Same as Sawa.

Isn't there... something I can do?

Shido: (Ngoc...)

On the panel, his heart rate started to increase.

Nurse: The way he's sweating so profusely, he's in danger of dehydration. We can't have him log out for now, can we?

Shido: No matter what we say here, Ngoc can't hear us... The Amusphere should cut off automatically before he gets dangerously dehydrated...

Nurse: Very well. We'll wait a little longer and see.

Maria: Shido. Mio... Ngoc's hand.

Mio: Huh?

Maria: Hold his hand. I just know he will be able to feel the warmth of your hands. My hand can't touch anything in your world, so you two hold it... hold it for me, too.

Shido: ... No, that's not true. I'm sure that he'll feel your hand, too.

I said as I put my phone under Ngoc's hand.

Shido: Let's cheer my brother... together.

Then Mio, I placed our hand on Ngoc's hand.

Shido: (Hang in there, Ngoc. For what you believe in. I... We'll always be here by your side, all right? We'll always have your back, and support you always...)

Death Gun's still attacking us and we're still dodging, blocking and parrying. And then he noticed that Sawa is getting weaker and weaker so he kicked me out and then he used <<Star Splash>> on her. He managed to stab her more than before he kicked her so hard that she fell backward away from us, then she laid down on the ground.
