Chapter 3

It was Friday! It was 20:00. Alice was on her date with Jack! I will admit I was gutted. I wasn't in love with Jack or anything like that. It was just a hot night of sex. It's just I can't stop thinking about that sex. A part of me feels like I need one more night with him to get over it.

'Babe, what you thinking about '
I looked over at Marcus. He was truly beautiful. I was such a lucky girl.
I moved over to him and sat on his lap. 'I was thinking about how we haven't had sex in days'. I kissed his neck 'I was thinking we should have sex'
He pushed me off him 'nah I'm playing fifa tonight babe. Maybe later'
I smiled 'yeah okay'
What was I doing with Marcus? He used to make me happy. We used to have sex all the time. We were so in love once. Where did it go wrong? Was it when he cheated on me 2 years ago? Was it when we argued and he pushed me against the wall in anger? When was it? Why were we still trying to act as though our relationship was perfect? We had so many cracks in our relationship that even cement couldn't fix us back together.
'Do you want a drink?'
'Beer babe'
I walked down to the kitchen and stood staring into the back garden. He had such a gorgeous house. Oh before you all ask, we don't live together. We did but when he cheated I moved out and started renting my own place. His parents bought us this house which is why I moved out of it and into my own.

It was now 23:00.
My phone pinged. I knew straight away it would be a WhatsApp from Alice. I opened it so quick.
'I had the best night. Jack is the nicest man ever! I have so much to tell you. First things first, I am no longer horny! He sorted that right out. Let's meet up tomorrow.
'Ahhh fuck!' I said out loud.
Marcus looked over at me 'everything okay?'
'Yeah sorry I just forgot that Alice went on a date tonight. I should have messaged her first'
He nodded and went back to his game.
I replied to Alice 'haha wow! I'm glad he helped with that. Yeah of course I'm free tomorrow? Afternoon or evening?'
'Well we are meeting up with Jack and his mates at 21:00, so shall we meet at 19:00 for the juicy gossip before we meet up with them?'
Well that won't be awkward! Me Alice and the lad we've both shagged!
'Yeah of course' I sighed 'pre drinks at Maria's?
'See you there!'
Why do I all of a sudden feel a bitch? I should never have messaged Jack back. It was a shag. I'm fine with that. But he was planning on meeting up with my best friend. I'm the worst!

'Cas, I'm feeling tired. You alright driving yourself home?'
'I was planning on stopping here..' I looked at Marcus.
'Ah sorry babe. I'm not really feeling it tonight'
Well that's just fantastic!
I sighed, kissed his cheeks and walked over to my car.
I really need to end this shit relationship!
