Chapter 4: The Dark World

}New York, 2013{

"Cheers for our One Year Anniversary!" Tony announced happily as he raised his champagne glass high. Loki chuckled with gladness and raised his glass high as well. "To us," he said as he and Tony tapped their glasses together. They both drank their champagne and laughed a little. They then leaned in and kissed each other.

"This day has been wonderful, Anthony. Thank you." Tony blushed and smiled. "Thank you for coming into my life, Lokes. You're truly the greatest person I've ever met." Loki blushed deeply and shyly smiled at what Tony said. Tony chuckled a little. Loki joined in with him.

"So, have you heard from your brother lately?" Tony asked outta curiosity. "Well, actually a few weeks ago. He's been busy fighting in battles, protecting the Nine Realms," Loki answered. Tony nodded. "And your father, Laufey?" "He's been giving Odin's punishment last time I remember. I haven't heard from him since... you know..." Tony nodded and hugged him. "I'm sure your father is doing alright, Lokes." Loki smiled and hugged Tony back. "Thank you, Anthony." "You're welcome, Loko."

"How about we go outside and get some fresh air? It is a beautiful night, after all," Loki suggested. Tony smiled and stood, handing out his hand for Loki. Loki took it and he was rose up to his feet. "That sounds like a great idea, Lokes." Loki smiled and let Tony to led them outside on the balcony. They both watched the city lit up, it was definitely a peaceful night for a change. Too peaceful, actually.

Thor appeared beside them, not far from them. "Brother. What brings you here?" Loki asked him as he ran up to give him a hug. Thor hugged him back. "It's about Jane Foster," he replied. "Your girlfriend?" "Yes. Heimdall could not see her." "That's-... That's not right. Something's terribly wrong then." Tony walked up to them. "We'll find her, Thor. I'm sure she's fine, wherever she might be," he reassured Thor. "Thank you, brother and Man of Iron. I apologize for ruining your evening together." Loki smiled and lightly chuckled. "It's fine, brother. Really."

They soon went inside to track down Jane. It didn't took long at all, thanks to Jarvis's help. "She is in London, United Kingdom," Jarvis informed them. "Then that's where we'll go. Is your new suit ready, Tones?" Loki asked him. "At the perfect time, actually," he replied as he called for his new suit. "Mark 48?" Loki asked. "Yup. You like it?" Tony asked. "It's perfect." "Now that you're ready, let's go," Thor announced as he started to fly with his hammer. Tony and Loki followed him behind.

}London, UK{

They found Jane and Darcey at an old warehouse in the city while it was raining. Jane saw Thor and ran up to him. Thor also ran up to her with Tony and Loki following. "Jane." Jane slapped Thor across his face. "Sorry. I just needed to make sure you're real," she apologized. "It's been a very strange day," she added. "I am, and so is my brother and Man of Iron. Jane, what...?" Thor got interrupted with another slap by Jane.

"Where were you?" she asked him. "Where were you? Heimdall cannot see you." "I was right here when you left me. I was waiting, and then I was crying and then I went out looking for you. You said you were coming back." "I know. I know, but the Bifrost was destroyed. My brother was captured by the Chitauris. I had to go and save him with Man of Iron and his friends' help. The Nine Realms erupted into chaos. Wars were raging, marauders were pillaging. I had to put an end to the slaughter," Thor explained to her.

"As excuses go, it's not terrible. And I did heard about Loki and what happened in New York." Thor sighed. "Jane, I don't know where you were, or what happened, but I do know this..." "What?" "I know..." "You do?" "Do what?" "What?" Thor and Jane were just ABOUT to kiss when Darcey came up to them.

"Hey! Is this you?" she asked Thor. Thor stopped the rain that was happening around them. "Uh, we're kind of in the middle of something here," Jane told Darcey. "Um, I'm pretty sure we are getting arrested," Darcey informed her. "Hold that thought," Jane told Thor as she ran up to the policeman. "Look at you, still all muscly and everything. How's space?" Darcey asked Thor. "Space is fine," he answered. "Hey! Loki! How you and your boyfriend been?!" she asked. "Wonderful, actually," Loki answered. Darcey smiled and nodded.
