}Later, in Riga, Latvia{

"I heard what became of Sokovia. Cannibalized by its neighbors before the land was cleared of rubble, erased from the map," Zemo told the gang about his country. "I don't suppose any of you bothered visiting the memorial?" he asked them. "Of course not. Why would you?" he didn't wait for anyone to answer. "We're here." The gang soon arrived to his apartment.

When they got inside, Zemo decided to go freshen up a bit. "Soldier, feel free to sit and relax on the sofa. If you get hungry or need a drink, feel free to help yourself to the fridge," he told Winter Soldier in Russian beforehand. Winter Soldier didn't respond. He simply went to sit on the sofa as he was told to do.

Meanwhile, with Tony, he was checking the news on his phone. Something caught his attention. "Karli bombed a GRC supply deport," he informed the others. "What? What's the damage?" Sam asked him. "Eleven injured, three dead. They have a list of demands and are promising more attacks if those demands aren't met," Tony read the information out loud. Sam sighed in disappointment. "This is getting really bad," Loki commented.

"Mischief is right. She's getting worse," Zemo said as he just left his room from the shower. "I have the will to complete this mission. Do the four of you?" he asked the gang. "She's just a kid," Sam told him. "You're seeing something in her that isn't there. You're clouded by it. She's a supremacist. The very concept of a Super Soldier will always trouble people. It's that warped aspiration that led to Nazis, to Ultron, to the Avengers."

"Hey, those our friends your talking about," Sam warned him. "The Avengers, not the Nazis," Tony told Sam. "So, Karli is radicalized, but there has to be a peaceful way to stop her." "The desire to become a superhuman cannot be separated from supremacist ideals. Anyone with that serum is inherently on that path. She will not stop. She will escalate until you kill her. Or she kills you," Zemo said to them. "Maybe you're wrong, Zemo. The serum never corrupted Steve," Loki told him. "Touché. But there has never been another Steve Rogers, has there?"

Zemo went through the cabinets, looking for something specifically. "From my understanding, Donya is like a pillar of the community, right? So, when I was a kid, my TT passed away," Sam started. "I beg your pardon, your TT?" Loki questioned Sam, confused. "Yeah, my TT, yeah." "Who is your TT?" Sam rolled his eyes. "Fine. When I was a kid, my aunt passed away and the entire neighborhood got together for a ceremony. It was like a week-long. Maybe they're doing the same for Donya." Loki nodded. "Worth of shot."

"Your TT would be proud of you," Zemo told Sam. "Turkish Delight." He tossed a Turkish Delight to Sam. He then dump rest on the countertop. "Irresistible. Here, both of you have one as well." He tossed one to both Tony and Loki. "How come we never heard about this type of candy?" Tony asked. "It's a type of candy that wouldn't be advertised on television," Zemo replied as he was putting the rest in a brown paper bag. "Why so many of them?" Loki asked as he was opening his. "It was always my son's favorite," Zemo simply replied truthfully. Loki nodded.

After the gang gotten ready, they all headed to the safehouse that the kids were at. "Shame what's become of this place. When I was young, we used to come here for fabulous dinners and parties. I knew nothing of the politics of the time, of course, but I remember it being beautiful," Zemo told the gang about the place. "I'm gonna take a look around upstairs. See what you can find down here. And keep an eye on him," Sam told Loki and Tony. He then left to head upstairs. "I'll stay out of your way," Zemo told the couple.

While Sam was having bad luck of getting information, Tony and Loki were as well. Zemo, on the other hand, had his own method of getting information. "Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool? Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full. One for my master, and one for the dame. One for the little girl who lives down the lane," he sang as he approached to the kids, setting a table in front of him. He then sat down on the bench and emptied the bag of Turkish Delights on the table. "Turkish Delight. It was always my son's favorite," he told the kids. The girl hesitantly took one from the table. "My old friend, Donya, passed away. Did you know her?" he asked the girl. The girl nodded and said, "Yes." "I would like to pay my last respects. Do you know where her funeral will be?" he asked her. The girl nodded. He then signaled her to whisper the location into his ear. The little girl did just as that.
