First off: if you haven't read book one of Star Beings, go do that.
I mean, unless you like being utterly confused on what the hell is happening.
So, where we last left off DJ had just emerged from the house of memories with Anai in tow. There's a tearful welcome between Lane and DJ, Anai sits up, and asks "who are you people?"
This leaves you, the reader, with many questions.
Does Anai actually not know what's going on? Is this a trick to try and save her own ass?
Or is there something more going on?
You'll have to read on and see.
This new chapter of Star Beings is going to be told from Anai's perspective.

For those who are new here and DON'T want to read a whole ass book, let me summarize book one:

DJ, a 14 year old girl, is just living her normal life when a portal opens up in her closet and a hand pokes itself out. She, without thinking, grabs it and is yanked through to the other side and into Worlomands, a completely different planet.
She then learns that not only does almost everyone on Worlomands have magical abilities, but she and nine others can use almost every single ability in existence, one of which is her best friend, Natalie. DJ is the escorted into a small classroom where she meets the other star beings, or at least the eight she hasn't met; Lanette Parker, Caleb and Damien Alexander, Hade Carson, Mateo Pérez, Karson Nelson, Gabriel Bisset, and Maxine Beckham. When Maxine is introduced, there was a bit of a mix up as her school ID was out of date and this led to her being outed. When Caleb decides to be a homophobic piss baby about this, he almost gets his ass kicked by multiple people, including Hade who is non-binary. They go on to have a serious grudge against him for a while. [still unfinished on this Recap]
