Katsuki sat at his desk, he was looking at y/n who sat across the class. They'd recently broken up to reasons Bakugo was still unsure of. Where did the love go? He was still very much in love with Y/n but she seemed to have other ideas. He went straight to his room once he got back to the dorms.

He stared at his door longingly. There was a time when Y/n would knock at the door all smiles and bubbling laughter. Now it seemed like she only knocked on the door to get him for training or if there was a dorm meeting downstairs. He remembered the last time that door was closed by her hand.

The tears he had cause, streaming down her face in thick streams, streaking her face with eyeliner. He remembered the sombre tone of her voice as she expressed her desire to end the relationship. He was angry, furious, was she not happy with him. He remembered the sound of it echoing through the house alerting everyone that was home about what just went on.

He remembered sitting in the dark days at a time when the holidays came. Even Kirishima couldn't talk him out of it. He didn't want to see the smile she forced on her face when she was around the others. He couldn't take it when she had left the room she was previously having fun in just because he showed up.

It wasn't him at all. He wasn't the problem. It was her. Y/n, she fell out of love. So she claimed anyway. Here he was gathering up the courage to go talk to her like a coward. God he was worse than Deku at this point. Katsuki sneered at the thought of what you had done to him. His footfalls were quiet through the halls. He knew you would take a stroll past curfew. Just around the campus to not only build up stamina but to clear your head.

He knew that Y/n lapsed in her judgement of how long passed and that sometimes she'd end up sleeping, propped up against a tree next to 1A's Dorms. He always find her with a freshly prepared breakfast and a glass of water. He didn't ever think twice about treating the love of his life with everything she deserved.

Now he was in the same position, staring at her beauty while she sat with her back against a tree, staring up at the sky. He resisted the urge to sit next to Y/n and wrap his arm around her shoulders. He resisted the urge to give her some cheesy compliment and deny it like she was hearing things.

"Y/n," he croaked out, voice straining. He still hurting, still angry at her. The relationship was going so well. The throbbing of his heart reminded him that he needed to be careful. She had broke his heart and talking to her just made it worse. He needed closure, he needed to know why. No one can fall out of love that quickly.

Bakugo hated the glare that settled on your face, the sneer that dared him to take on step closer. So he did. He took a step closer to her. "Y/n, I need to know," he begged. It was pitiful that he'd even stoop that low.

"Bakugo you need to leave. I don't want you here," Y/n growled out. Was she already annoyed at him and all he did was say her name. He wanted to know what he did so the two of them could try again. Red met e/c. She didn't want him.

"Yeah I know. You don't have to remind me." he bitterly remarked. He wanted to take it back as she scoffed in response. On one hand he could leave and then treat her like the extra she originally was. On the other he could stay and find out why she didn't want him anymore. "Bakugo, I'm not telling you twice. Leave." she growled out.

He grabbed her wrist. "I'm sorry Y/n, don't leave me." Katsuki's voice was barely above a whisper, his grip on her wrist softening. He wanted to be back in the good times, making her squeal with laughter as he tickled her. He wanted to see her smiles, he wanted to hear her laugh, he wanted to see her happy.

"It's not easy Bakugo. I know it isn't. I just don't love you anymore." she was blunt. It hurt sharper than a knife, deeper than any stab wound could ever go. His breathing was picking up and his chest felt like it was caving in. This couldn't be happening. The love Y/n had for him really was gone. She felt nothing while saying that?

"Did you ever love me?" he questioned. He was panicking, he wanted to hold on to the hope that everything he felt was returned, that all this pain weren't for nothing. Y/n hesitated, a deep sigh fell from her lips. He couldn't hear anything, it was like the whole world went silent as he watched the words form. He could almost hear the strange sound of glass cracking and then shattering from within him. Y/n walked passed him as he dropped to his knees. Bakugo was struggling to breathe without gasping for air. This couldn't be true. He still loved her, in fact he loves her.

'I'm sorry Bakugo,'
