Messy Ending - I. Midoriya x Reader

Pairing: Midoriya Izuku x Reader, Deku x Reader. Deku x Uraraka. Reader x Bakugo

"MIDORIYA IZUKU!" you screamed out. You were sick of it. He was always coming home grumpier each time. Now it's starting to rival how Bakugo was during your years at U.A. 

This was the last straw. He kept denying how he was getting awfully too close to Uraraka. He just rubbed his temples and sighed deeply. This was the 5th fight this week over something that was so small. This time it was over dinner. Last night it was about how you hadn't cleaned up the apartment enough. 

"Don't start, I've had enough of you overreacting," he stated bluntly. Over the years since you confessed your love, he'd become a completely different person. Even Bakugo was concerned. "Don't start? Don't start. You literally just came in and started arguing with me, and I'm just suppose to take it?" you hissed. This was it. This was the last time you'd let him walk all over you in hopes that it was just a bad day at work. 

"Y/n," he warned leaning back against the couch, one of his hands cradled a bottle of clear liquid that you knew was so much stronger than your regular drinks. "No, Izuku. You listen to me." you snapped. He seemed to sober up a little and just glared at you, daring you to say what's on your mind. "What? Just so you can jabber on about your day on patrol with Kacchan." he seemed to mock what he used to call Bakugo when they were both younger. 

A sharp smash resounded through the apartment as you threw a plate passed Izuku's head and at the wall. You did not love this version of Izuku. Twisted, bitter and a foul mouthed drunk. Maybe the trauma after all these years has finally caught up with him.

"What has gotten into you? Every time you come home, we fight. Every time I do something even slightly wrong, you hate me for it. What have I done to you for you to treat me like this?" you asked hand on your hip. This was it. There was no way he could back out of anything now. There was a dull thud as the bottle he held fell on the floor and in the next second he was up in your face, that handsome face of his tainted with a sneer. 

"You mean when Bakugo kissed you? When he felt you up? When you and him have so many inside jokes? How about all of these?" he was seething with anger, all his words filled with venom. He took out something out of his pocket and threw it on the coffee table. It was photos of you and Bakugo. Stuff from press conferences, times you worked together, personal photo together when you were 17. You stood there in shock. "Was this what this was about? All this time? Photos. The Past. When he was my boyfriend?" you asked incredulously. 

Was this the cause of all his issues. Photos of a purely platonic relationship with your ex. Innocent interactions of hero missions. The past. The twisted past that wasn't kind to any of you. That left too many scars filled with too many hurtful memories. "When has he ever stopped being a boyfriend to you? He constantly checks in on you at work. He constantly makes sure you get home okay. You have no idea how crazy it makes me with how close you two are." Izuku said furiously. His breaths were coming out in ragged gasps. 

"Oh and it's not like you haven't done that either." you spoke, though it came out meeker than you would've liked. The tears were coming now, streaming down your face. He stood there, mouth agape until it twisted into an indignant look. "I've done no such thing." he spat. 

"Yes you have. Uraraka. You've constantly fed her love for you. You always walk her home, that's why you're home so late. You always bring her lunch. You always comfort her when she's sad. You are always protecting her when you work together. You're always protecting her regardless of the situation. You've kissed her. You've slept with her. You act so much differently with her than with me," you ranted. It felt so much better getting that off of your chest.
