written on August 26, 2020Y/n had been in cross country for a while and decided to take a run through the woods. It was peaceful when it was only her and the sounds of nature. That is until someone jumped out in her path. It was a girl with a white streak in her hair.
"Hey this is our woods and you're not allowed in!" The girl threatened.
Y/n was taken back in confusion, "Why so?"
The other looked like she had a moment of realization. "Nevermind the reason. I'm feeling nice today and propose a challenge to see if I'll let you stay."
Y/n crossed her arms. "What is this challenge?"
The girl smiled, "A race!"
And with that y/n agreed, she also found out the girl was named Wynter. After a three second count down the two sprinted off. Y/n wouldn't lie, the girl was faster than she immediately thought. But she knew she still had a chance. And she was right, just by a few seconds though. But since y/n won fairly Wynter let her stay.
Months later Y/n transferred to Seabrook and noticed the girl she met in the woods went there. She also found out she was a werewolf and that's why she technically wasn't supposed to be in that area of the woods. But also that's how she met Wyatt.
She had become friends with Wynter which led to her introducing y/n to all of her werewolf friends. Y/n got along with all of them but mostly Wyatt. That's why Wyatt was currently on his way to Y/n's house.
Y/n's mother had let him in and when he asked where she was her reply was that she was currently dying her hair.
"Really? What's she dying it to?" He asked curiously.
Y/n's mother tilted her head in confusion, "The color she's been doing for a few years. She never told any of you that she hasn't let her natural color show in a long while?"
Wyatt shook his head, "Nope, never mentioned it. Wonder why. What is it naturally if she doesn't mind you telling?"
"White. Not grey or golden, just white." She explained. "Always has been but no one really knows why."
Wyatt was taken back by the thought of an old legend he had been hearing since he was a kid. The legend of the Great Alpha who is a girl with white hair that will show them where this moonstone is. Maybe y/n was the Great Alpha? He had to tell her. So he immediately went to her.
After mildly scaring her by barging into the bathroom he started to explain everything. Y/n with her hands still stained and hair full of dye stood there in shock.
"You really think I could be?" She asked.
Wyatt shrugged, "No way as of now to truly know, but we should probably tell Willa about this." Y/n agreed.
So once Y/n was done she told her mom she was going to visit the wolf den and was off with Wyatt. Once there they quickly explained everything to Willa. She was hesitant at first in hopes of not getting her Hope's up, but she has to realize it wasn't every day someone with white hair shows up.
Eventually plans were put in place to see if Y/n truly was, but that was cut short by destruction during the school's dance. But really it turned out to just speed up the process. Y/n was the first to put two and two together about where Seabrook was getting its energy from, the moonstone! So she was the first to start making her way there and low and behold there was the moonstone. She really was the Great Alpha of the prophecy.
