Lately Jay had been spending alot of time with Lonnie and y/n wasn't too thrilled about it. At first she was fine with it, but now it was getting to her. Y/n wasn't mad but was just highly disappointed because she thought he liked her.
Y/n thought it was finely time to confront Jay about the whole thing so she decided to go find him. After a few minutes of looking she decided to head to where he was usually practicing fencing. When y/n opened the door she froze when she seen Jay and Lonnie laughing together at something.
Before y/n could walk back out Lonnie saw her and asked, "Hey are you okay? You look shaken up."
"I-im fine." Y/n spoke.
"You really don't look it though. You haven't looked alright in a while actually." Jay spoke.
This is where y/n broke because everyone seemed to be clueless. "You know actually? I'm not fine! You've spent so much time with Lonnie these past few weeks and barely have even spoke to me! And to believe I actually thought you liked me!"
Both Jay and Lonnie froze both not knowing what to do at this moment.
"Y/n it's not what you think. The truth is I've been avoiding you because I started getting nervous around you. I figured out that I do like you so I freaked out and started avoiding you. Lonnie has actually been trying to get me to talk to you the last few weeks but I just kept putting it off." Jay blurted out.
"Oh." was all y/n could say.
"S-so what now?" Jay asked.
"You ask her out! Jeez do I have to do everything around here?" Lonnie replied make the other two laugh.
"So w-would you w-"
"I'd love to." Y/n cut him off.
