The day had begun pretty normal until Chad Charming arrived. You'd think for being Cinderella's son he'd have some sense of kindness. But nope, he was only crowned the most annoying person by you.
You were enjoying your walk around the school grounds with your dog when Chad seen you. I knew of your blindness and use of a service dog and decided to have what he called "fun". This meant trying his best to scare the dog and leave you alone. He unfortunately succeeded at this and now you were frantically calling for your lost dog.
Your dog was your eyes and without it you could put yourself in great danger. So you stayed where you were and started calling out for it or for any sighted person to help.
Soonly and voice answered your call. "Hello, are you alright? I heard you call for help?" The voice sounded familiar but you couldn't remember who it was.
"Yes in theory I guess. But you see I'm blind and Chad Charming scared off my guide dog. I don't know where I'm going if I don't have him." You explained. Oh how you hated feeling helpless.
"Oh, well let me help you find your dog. How am I supposed to guide you? Oh and my names Evie by the way." Of course now you realized why you knew the voice. It was none other than the Evil Queen's daughter.
"Thank you so much! And you just let me hold on to your elbow and tell me of any potential hazards." You explained.
After a few minutes of Evie guiding you around and calling out to the dog you felt something brush against your leg. It was your dog.
Letting go of Evie's arm you crouched down to pet it, "There you are y/d/n! I was so worried for you!"
Evie smiled and let you know that she was happy as well you were able to reunite with her dog. She also offered to be a friend if you wanted.
"You want to be my friend?"
Evie lightly laughed, "Of course you're just amazing. I don't know if I'd ever be able to do what you do."
You hated being treated as fragile and pitied so it meant alot that Evie of all people told you this. Of course you excepted her friendship.
