Marly's POV
Mrs. King holds my hand trying to stop it from shaking. They are unhooking Maddox right now so we are all in here hoping everything goes fine.
His wounds are completely healed so there's no point of keeping him under.
I look over at Emma and Tony hugging while she holds Lexi. She gives me a small smile of reassurance. They have been doing great since they had their talk.
Jake holds Angel's hand nervously tapping his feet. Angel hugs me by my belly actually hugging his sibling. He knows im pregnant but he doesn't know that Maddox is the dad. I need to tell him first.
Im also waiting for him to know the gender.
Im showing now so everyone knows and it wasn't hard to guess who's was it. I shouldn't be scared of his reaction but that's who i am. I always have this fear in the back of my head that everyone is leaving.
The doctor nods turning to us. "we will be monitoring him, he should wake up today." We nod and sit around the room. We all want to be here when he wakes up.
I look at him, please wake up.
2 hours go by and nothing has happened. He hasn't moved or at least let out a grunt.
Angel kisses my belly then me before everyone else, saying goodbye before leaving with Jake. We have all been here since morning but it's 12pm and he needs to sleep.
I lay my head in my pillow so they don't see me crying. I keep looking at him just in case he moves, anything please.
Please move. Tony and Emma leave around 2 in the morning because of Lexi. That just leaves mrs. King and i sharing a bed.
She falls asleep around 4 in the morning.

I get out of bed and move to his now that he doesn't have so many cables around. I move his hand and put it on my belly. I cuddle to him laying my head on his chest.
"You know i want a girl what about you?" The baby moves making me smile but cry at the same time.
"Mad please wake up, im horrible at names. You named my first kid i don't know what to do." I listen to his steady heartbeat.
"What do you think about Snow white?" Nothing. "Or Maddoxy so it's girly." I quietly laugh so Mrs. King doesn't wake up.
The baby moves again "i guess the baby doesn't like it maybe it's a boy. Can you think of any boy names?" I yawn falling asleep.
"Y-y" i hear him say something so i look up. His looking around the room and moving his head. His Beautiful eyes are open as he moves!
I jump out of the bed. "Christina!" I yell waking Mrs. King up.
He looks at me and frowns but doesn't try to speak again. "Christina get the nurse." She nods running out. I kiss Maddox but he doesn't move. "Hey Mad. How are you?" He shakes his head.
"Who are you?" He asks while the nurse and his mom walk in. My smile drops "im Marly." He shakes his head making me cry. He looks down then goes wide eye. "Oh shit Angel your pregnant. Don't cry i was kidding. Fuck."
I can't stop the tears "please stop, i didn't know." Mrs. King starts laughing behind. "He's still an idiot but his awake." She hugs him laughing and he hugs her back but his hands look stiff into tight fist.
He keeps looking at me. "Maddoxy is a horrible name." He smiles pulling me. I hug him as the nurse try's to check him but he won't sit still. He kisses my neck before burying his face in.
I let go so she can check his eyes but this is the best case scenario. His moving mostly and talking. He remembers and his already being annoying.

2 weeks later
I straddle Maddox in bed while feeding him breakfast. His completely healthy except that he can't fully move all of his fingers so he's taking physical therapy for that.
He softly rubs my bump with his knuckles while eating. He might be under the impression that i moved up the plans for the insemination. So he doesn't know that it's his.
Everyone came back and then they took him away for more test. Everything has been happening so fast and he just assumed so i asked everyone to not say anything until i do. I have been putting it off.
He has been so fucking amazing with the pregnancy even when he thinks it's not his.
"Hey i have an appointment do you want to come with me?" I don't want to leave him home alone. He needs help getting dressed, eating and everything that he needs his hands for so i moved him in with me.
He didn't want to be a bother but i told him to shove it. He nods looking at my belly. "Is it a baby appointment?" I nod making him smile. "Then yes." I smile giving him long kiss.
We can't have sex yet doctors orders but i can't help but grind and kiss him with everything i have.

I park and look up at the hospital building. "Hey Mad?" We look at each other. "You know how i got the insemination done?" He laughs looking at me. "I think it's pretty obvious."
I nod fake laughing. "Yeah about that. I didn't, the baby is yours but you just assumed it wasn't and i didn't want to add more to your plate." I keep ranting.
"Im almost 5 months and i hope it's a girl. I don't know about you and you need to pick a name because im horrible at it. That's why we are here for the gender. I also want you to move in with me like in my room and tell Angel. I love you and i almost lost you. Please be my boyfriend." He doesn't move or blink.
"I also might have told mrs. Knox to lock up James or that i would shoot him. She sign the papers to keep him locked up when you woke up. Im going to stop talking now because im out of breath."
We just keep looking at each other. I nod before getting out of the car going around to open the door for him. He gets out and we quietly walk in and into the elevator.
"What the fuck!!" He suddenly yells making me jump before he starts laughing. He holds my face with his closed hands before kissing me. "We really do everything backwards Angel." He looks down with our foreheads together.
"Our baby." He whispers getting emotional which obviously gets me emotional so now the elevator door opens making the people that were going to get in look at us like we're nuts.
We laugh walking out and i wait for the doors to close before kissing him again. "I love you, the little genius and our baby." He whispers softly running his knuckles over my bump. "We love you too."
