The carriage finally stopped where Katherine felt was a stop before the middle of the woods. "Is this the right way ? " asked the carriage driver . "Mhm " she mumbled looking for something specific, Katherine finally stopped when she reached exactly what she wanted. " life really can be a two sided bitch sometimes huh" she laughed a little. "Come over real quick handsome ? "
The carriage driver grinned to himself thinking " i can't believe i found some so appetizing, so naive" he made his way over until Katherine had them both sit down." So if you don't mind me asking... "she stopped before moving on smile completely dropped "how many women have you harassed ?" He flinched when he felt the atmosphere completely change but then he grew angry how dare a woman try to threaten him. After all their only job is sit still and look pretty his thoughts rang as his teeth grinding.
" I don't see how that matters, after all i wasn't harassing them i just simply reminded who the boss is in a relationship. ." "Was it a relationship they consented to ?" interrupted Katherine; the man seemed to have his mouth stuck open. He started laughing uncontrollably before grabbing Katherine's clothes in a fist. "Listen woman, i would be careful what you say next before I do something you'll regret." He immediately pushed her to the ground trying to open up her corset.
Katherine's facial expression didn't show any reaction when he tried to grab a hold of her chest until she looked down. "there seem to be several scars on your arm too small for a knife or accident." " I noticed hem when i touched your hand earlier, some seem old but look this this one going down your arm seems pretty fresh and now that i'm looking at it closely doesn't it look an awful like nail marks ?" she asked like she already knew the answer.
The carriage driver immediately backed off. "you know" Katherine started" i was wondering why you looked familiar that was until i pulled out a piece of paper confirming my suspicion. " "You're that criminal wanted for burglary and sexual harassment of women, possibly more from what i see " Katherine as she stood up dusting her dress off fixing the front taking step by step closer to him.
He backed away even more "there's no way for you to confirm that, the hunter wears a mask he declared." Katherine smirked now" wait a minute i never mentioned his name". The carriage driver's eyes opened like saucers he continued backing away until his foot felt the edge of the hill. " Not many people know this but there's a drop off in the middle of this forest leading to a rock filled ravine" Katherine softly said before placing a flower behind his ear. The carriage driver reached behind him before stopping in shock. " looking for this ?" she asked waving a knife in front of him. "You should really be more aware of your surroundings instead of a woman's chest don't you think ?"
She walked up to him until her finger poked his chest, " I've just been on the receiving side of annoying things all morning and you seem to have tipped the cup", she started pushing him. He felt rocks move beneath him as panic built. " but back to the important question " if you had a second chance would you take back all your actions? " She didn't stop pushing until he was one breeze away from falling. He looked her in the eye but still his pride refused to back down" Those women all had it coming" Since im not cold hearted like you are, I've decided to leave it up to this quarter " she threw the quarter up in the air "heads you live , tails you lose." the coin landed and Katherine turned to look. the man quivered with fear "tails ..pity" she said pushing him one last time before she turned her back to him. His eyes widened and then he felt the breeze of air in slow motion as he fell backward.
It wasn't until a few minutes later that tears clouded her eyes "I'm extremely sorry" she said as she fell to her knees" but you have to understand the people in this world are awful they don't care who they take from or who." If just one less bad person was in it ," wouldn't that be better then ?"she asked now sobbing. it was starting to get dark after she stopped, she looked up and wiped her tears" time to get back." " May whatever god is up there forgive what has happened." Katherine mumbled. she took one more look behind her as she stepped back into the dark forest.
