- A Missed Opportunity -

It was hard to keep on pretending as if the events of the past timeline hadn't happened. That Tommy is still alive, and that the others are as well. The feeling of unrest and unease was persistent in her everyday life here since waking up with the memories of said past timeline, those same feelings becoming more prominent the more she hung around the closed-off blonde.

Which is exactly what she's doing now. Or at least what she's been trying to do. It's now been about a week since coming here and throughout the week her first set of plans had been put into action. Though of course, she hadn't expected them to be easy.

Tommy shut the door before she could step inside after him. The little girl grumbled, crossing her arms and placing her back against the door, and sliding down in a rather dramatic manner.

Shutting her eyes she let out a soft exhale, only opening them once more when someone from down the hall let out a light sound of laughter that was quickly muffled.

She turned her head, still frowning, and found herself now looking up at the much taller figure that was her eldest brother, Wilbur.

In his hands he clutched onto a book, hair swept to the side in a casual way and an outfit that indicated luxury and wealth.

So in short he appeared the exact opposite of what she did. She knew what it meant whenever he dressed up, it meant that he was going to the palace to spend some time with his best friend the Prince.

The same prince who used Wilbur's selflessness to his advantage. Wilbur was someone who struggled to say no to the ones he greatly cared about, and after growing up with the prince that was exactly what happened.

And exactly what helped lead to his downfall. But how could she change that about him?

"Where are you going?" Asked Y/n. Wilbur adjusted the book he was carrying and smiled. "To the palace to go visit a friend of mine."

She feigned interest. "Really? Are you going to go talk to a princess?"

Wilbur chuckled and bent down. "No I'm afraid not, just the Prince," Y/n grabbed the book that he extended out to her and read the cover and learned that the book he was bringing with him was a fairytale she hadn't ever heard about before.

Her eyebrows furrowed. If her memory is correct then the fairytale in question should be about a mermaid and a prince. The story is a long-time favorite between Wilbur and the Prince since their parents would read the story to them at sleepovers. But instead, the fairytale looked to be about a wolf and a village girl.
