XI - A Curse -
Tommy flopped himself on the leather sofa, arms crossed and lips pulled into a pout while keeping his line of sight trained on the floor in front of him.
A pair of brown boots blocked his vision, which prompted the blonde to look up at the person in front of him. Short and almond-colored hair cut to be just above his ears. He'd been proud of his new and recent haircut, after all those rants to Tommy about wanting to try something new with his style.
"Your hair is dumb," Said Tommy. The brunette remained undeterred.
"No, the way you're acting is dumb, my hair is cool and stylish!" He exclaimed, kicking his foot at Tommy's leg without any force but enough so that Tommy would react.
Tommy let out an elongated groan and shot his head back. "You wouldn't get it!"
"You haven't even told me what happened yet, so of course, I'm not going to get it!"
"I'm getting to that!"
"Then hurry up! You don't have a lot of time to spend here after all,"
Tommy looked to his best friend when they sat right by him, arms and legs crossed with a matching frown now on his softer features.
"Uh, so Phil found a kid getting chased by some baker after they committed the crime of burglary, right? And you wouldn't believe what he did after that, like who in their right mind would adopt a kid they just found stealing shit?"
Tubbo blinked without an ounce of amusement or surprise. "That is quite literally how you were adopted,"
"Exactly! Phil isn't in his right mind so he adopts this kid and- and they stuck up for me when they shouldn't have so now my head is all jumbled and- gah!" Tommy turned towards his best friend and grabbed him by his shirt, shaking him back and forth while Tubbo let out a few chuckles.
"Tommy stop—!"
"No! I'm frustrated with myself so I'm now taking it out on you!"
"Take out that frustration with a sword you idiot!" Tommy froze, eyes meeting Tubbo's as a grin slowly grew on his features that seemed to light up at the word "sword".
"Right now? You still have 'em?"
Tubbo rolled his eyes. "You still have them" of course I still have them!"
Tommy faux-sniffled. "Tubbo, have I ever told you how amazing you are?"
Tubbo shook his head. "No, I don't think you have-"
