Techno stood by the front entrance with his arms crossed and eyes set in a steady glare. Y/n looked over and around him in an attempt to see where the others were, while Tommy stood beside her with a nervous frown on his face.
The pair of clothes she had on happened to be what Techno had brought back, stating that she needed something to wear and that her continuous habit of putting on-hand me downs from Tommy wasn't appropriate outside of the house.
And she was surprised to see how stylish said clothes were. The extravagant and expensive-looking outfit she had just put on made her curious as to what Techno would consider clothing of value as he also said afterward that he quickly grabbed something since she's going to pick her clothing during their visit to the capital.
So Techno wasn't upset with her, she had done what he wanted and put on the clothes he asked her to. It was Tommy he directed his displeasure at, and Y/n didn't find that fair.
He had begun by scolding Tommy and explained how they shouldn't have to wait for him and make the carriage driver wait either.
But before Tommy could apologize from the looks of it, Y/n stepped in accordingly.
"It's my fault we were late!" Pink iris' burned into her form that made her stiffen ever so slightly. Tommy kept his head down, frown still present.
"Yeah? How so?"
"I had a bad dream last night and made him sleep by me because I was— I was too scared to sleep alone,"
Techno's features softened instantly, the anger from before visibly depleting as he shut his eyes and exhaled out a breath of air.
"Still, he should've been awake earlier,"
"Also my fault, I didn't want to wake up and would throw a fit every time he tried to."
The pink hair man turned towards Tommy with a raise of his brow. Tommy by now had shot his head upwards with widened eyes as he did a double-take from Y/n back to his older brother.
"What?" Exclaimed Tommy, but Techno's look made him silent again. With some reluctance and a few seconds, Tommy nodded in agreement to Y/n's words.
Now Techno directed his scolding towards Y/n, which she took gladly in place of Tommy's.
While Tommy looked at his little sister in adoration, and also with something else that made him clench his fists.
