When Ashton and Michael stepped into the cafeteria, Calum and Luke were yet again avoiding each other. Michael started walking to go to his normal table, Ashton grabbed his bony wrist.
"Can I sit with you?" He asked while scrunching up his eyebrows. Michael thought he was cute, adorable, hot.
"Sure." He said then pulled Ashton to the table. there meals arrived and Michael pushed it away. Ashton noticed but didn't push it. He didn't want to seem forceful.
They went to Calum and Michaels room afterwords. They talked about random things until 11:38.
It wasn't until the next night that Luke slipped a note under Calum and Michaels door that read,
Dear Calum and Michael,
Me and Ashton want to invite you to the roof top. Turn 2 lefts and 1 right. At the end of the hall there is a unlocked door, go in and up. Meet me at midnight.
See you there.

When Calum noticed the note, he told Mikey.
"But I'm tired." He replied. He didn't know what Calum and the kiss all meant, he was confused and alone.
Calum finally convinced him, and Michael totally forgot that Calum was there, watching. He was too busy talking to the voice in his head.
When Michael lifted his shirt, his ribs were poking through and his spine was visible. Calum was holding in a gasp and a million questions. They both slipped on a sweatshirt and left to meet them at midnight.
