She slowly makes my way down to the cold, dark basement , she sits on the cold floor which instantly sends shivers to her spin . Warm tears fall down her cheeks as her stomach growls from hunger . Many thoughts filled her precious head thinking what life would be if she still had her family , what life would had been if her brother was still alive . She truely felt lonely for a thirteen year old . But she had gotten accustomed to the loneliness. She had learnt not to show emotion . Happiness and joy didn't exist in her life . Her life felt like dark empty tunnel with no hope of ever seeing light again . She wrapped her bruised arms around her legs , hugging herself , craving for the warmth that she never had . Realising that she'd never get that warmth again she fell asleep into a deep slumber
