⚠ Trigger Warning: This chapter mentions harassment as well.
I would like to say no is a no. Please do learn that. People are not trying to play hard to get or anything. They are simply just not interested. So don't get fired up, thinking it's a challenge. Just give up and let them be.

On the last day of their training camp, the coaches decided to have a barbeque party after practice. "Can some of you go to the market and the necessary ingredients?"
"I can go," Kiyoko volunteered.
"I'll go as well!" Kurumi volunteered right after.
"S-Should I go as well?" Yachi asked.
Kiyoko shook her head with a gentle smile. "Stay here and watch over the team for me."
Yachi nodded immediately.
"I'll go with you guys," Suzumeda said.
Kurumi tilted her head. "Is that okay? Can Shirofuku-san handle Bokuto-san alone?"
Suzumeda nodded with a smile. "We have Akaashi after all!"
Kurumi let out a short laugh as she felt bad for her friend.
After that, the three of the managers received the money from the coach before heading to the nearby market. The three of them were walking around the market, placing the ingredients they need in the cart. When they were done, they headed to the cashier and paid for the items before exiting the market.
"I feel like these are too heavy for three of us," Suzumeda said.
Kurumi nodded in agreement. "Maybe we should call someone for help."
Suzumeda smirked as she elbowed Kurumi playfully. "Why don't you call Kuroo?"
Kurumi blushed at her words. "W-What do you mean?"
"Don't pretend like you don't understand what I'm saying~" She teased.
Kiyoko laughed softly beside them.
"Is it that obvious that I like him?" She asked.
"It's so obvious that he likes you back as well! You guys look like you are dating already!"
Kurumi blushed even deeper at her reply.
"Anyway, why don't you call Kuroo and ask him to bring someone with him to help us?"
Kurumi fished out her phone from her pocket. Before she could press the call button, Kiyoko said, "Oh wait, I forgot to buy something. I'll head back and quickly buy it."
"Sure go ahead. They would arrive by the time you buy whatever you forgot," Suzumeda said.
Kiyoko headed back inside while Suzumeda turned to Kurumi. "I'll just head to the bathroom real quick!"
Kurumi nodded.
When she was left alone with the plastics bags, she pressed the call button.

The members were having a break when Kurumi called Kuroo. As soon as he felt his phone vibrate, he pressed the answer button after seeing that it was Kurumi. "Hey, Kitten! Are you done buying the ingredients?"
"Yeah we are done, but we have too many items, so I don't think the three of us are enough. Can you and Keiji come and help us please?" Kurumi asked with her soft voice.
"Sure. We will head there right now," Kuroo said as he stood up from the bench and motioned Akaashi to follow him.
Before they could hang up the call, Kuroo heard an unfamiliar voice in the other line. "Hey, we saw up standing here by yourself since a while ago. If you are alone, why don't you join us and have fun?"
"Um... No, it's fine..." She replied.
"Come on~ Don't be like that. Are you trying to play hard?" Another unfamiliar voice was heard.
"H-Hey! Let go of me!" Kurumi yelled with a hint of fear and pain.
This made Kuroo's eyes widen. "Kitten?!"
Akaashi looked at him in an alert. Kuroo ran out with Akaashi following right after him.
"You don't have to be shy~"
"Hey! I said I'm not-" Then the phone got cut off making Kuroo growl as he shoved his phone into his pocket. When the two of them arrived, they saw three guys crowded at a certain spot. When they got closer to them, they saw Kurumi, Suzumeda, and Kiyoko backed to the wall.
"Kitten!" Kuroo yelled as he got in front of them protectively.
"Are you guys alright?" Akaashi asked the three managers in concern.
"Kitten? Did you have a boyfriend?" One of them laughed as he stared at Kurumi.
"We told you that we are not interested. Leave us alone," Kiyoko said with a firm voice.
"Oh come on... Don't be hard to get~" One of them said as he tried to grab Kurumi who happened to be nearest to him.
Kuroo growled at the sight and grabbed his wrist before he got a hold of Kurumi. "Don't fuckin touch her or any of them."
The guys laughed at Kuroo's warning, but then the guy whose wrist was caught by Kuroo yelled in pain as Kuroo added more pressure to his wrist. Akaashi who was standing beside Kuroo had a cold expression displayed on his face. "You better leave now unless you want things to get ugly."
"Tch! Let's go!" They said before running as soon as Kuroo let his wrist go.
When they were finally out of their sight, Kuroo turned around to check if Kurumi had any injuries. As he was doing so, he heard Suzumeda laugh. "Wow, you're only worried about your girlfriend."
Kuroo didn't reply to her comment when he saw her red wrist. He could tell it has swollen a bit as well.
"Those bastards," he growled in anger.
"I'm alright, Kuroo-san," she smiled softly. "Suzumeda-san came back right before they were about to drag me."
"I saved your girlfriend, you dumbass!" Suzumeda laughed.
"I was so shocked when I saw the both of you cornered by those guys," Kiyoko said.
"At least all of you are safe now," Akaashi said.
In the end, Kuroo did not let Kurumi carry any of the plastic bags. He carried double the amount instead.

"He sure is protective over you, Kurumi," Suzumeda whispered as they walked behind Kuroo and Akaashi.
She gave an awkward smile. "I feel bad for not carrying anything."
She shook her head with a chuckle. "It's fine! If we let you carry something with that swollen wrist, he is going to bite our heads off."
"I should have tried to avoid them quicker," Kurumi mumbled dejectedly.
This time, Kiyoko spoke. "It's not your fault. Besides, you can't really beat three guys who were twice your size by yourself."
Kurumi nodded with a gloomy aura around her.
