Chapter 21

Kuroo was on his way down to the gym for P.E. like his usual days in school until he saw Kurumi with another guy. He froze on the spot while Yaku stared at him in puzzlement. "Why did you suddenly stop?"

He followed where Kuroo was looking at and commented, "It looks like a confession scene to me."

"As if I can't see that," he mumbled.

"Kurumi-san, I really like you. Please go out with me!" The guy confessed.

Kuroo's hands curled into tight fists at his words. She was his kitten and nobody else's.

"You should confess to her before someone takes her away~" Yaku teased.

While Kurumi could not say anything, Kuroo walked towards them with a grin. He saw her eyes widen at his sudden appearance. "Kuroo-san?"

He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him. "What might be your business with my Kitten?"

"Kitten?" The guy gave him a confused look.

"Didn't you know? She's already taken. She's my girlfriend," he said with a smirk as he was trying his best not to growl at him.

He glanced down to see Kurumi's face and saw that she had a bright red face as she buried her face to his chest from shyness. Her actions brought a smile to his face before glancing back at the guy.

"I never heard her talking about having a boyfriend!" The guy argued.

Kuroo's eyes sharpened as he glared at him. The guy immediately shrieked back before walking away in haste. Kuroo continued to glare at his retreating form when he heard Yaku snicker. "We are going to be late for P.E."

Kuroo let go of Kurumi before leaning down to her ear. "I wouldn't mind being your boyfriend for real~"

He then walked away with Yaku. He glanced back to see her and he immediately covered the lower half of his face with his hand. Her expression was just too adorable for him to handle.

"When can I confess to her...?" He mumbled.

"It's pretty obvious that both of you like each other. I'm more curious why you aren't confessing to her yet," Yaku said.

He just wanted to show her that he really likes her before he confesses to her. However, he didn't tell Yaku that as they continued to head to the gym.

Ever since that incident, the rumour of her and Kuroo has spread out throughout the whole batch.

"Kurumi-chan! Is it true that you are dating the third year?"

"I heard someone got rejected because your boyfriend showed up and revealed your relationship!"

"Why didn't you tell us?!"

"How long have you been dating?"

"I can't believe you are finally off limits now!"

"Is he not a playboy like the rumours say?"

Kurumi sighed in annoyance at their endless question. However, she didn't hate the fact that it was with Kuroo. She does like him a lot, but she doesn't want to date him. She doesn't want to lose him if they ever break up. Also, he was graduating soon. What if their relationship doesn't work out? She was scared and uncertain about everything.

Kurumi sighed as she waited for Kuroo and Kenma to finish changing back into their uniform. As she continued to think about Kuroo, she heard someone suddenly speaking behind her ears. "Boo!"
