"Shot! Shot! Shot!"

I drink the last sip of the beer in my small glass and everyvody screams happily. God, I am starting to feel drunk. Keanna is within the crowd of people, laughing. I control myself to my best to not do something incredibly stupid in front of her.

"Another one!" Ethan shouts and people cheer again.
"Man, this one is my fourth," I reply.
"Then make the fifth one the last," he says, raising one of his eyebrows and filling another glass with Vodka this time. I roll my eyes and grab it.
"Harry! Harry! Harry!" Keanna starts cheering and clapping. People follow her, making me to laugh. I make eye contact with her and she rolls her yes funnily. I turn my sight to my glass, blushing, and take the shot.
"Now, One Direction sing!" Carter shouts when I finish my shot. I shake my head immediately, laughing.
"I don't remember any lyrics now," I say, making people to laugh.

In the circle surrounding me, there are my friends, the lads, and a few guys and girls, no more than ten, that I know a little. I remember a few from Keanna's classroom, but... memory loss.

"What about if you sing..." Carter thinks. He shakes his head, taking a sip from his glass and Ethan whispers something in his ear. Carter laughs and seems to agree.

This is going to be some long four minutes.

"I want to vomit since an hour ago," Zayn says, going to the restroom.
"I told you not to mix those drinks but no..." Louis says, "you kept doing it."
"Shut the fuck up," Zayn says, laughing.

I lay down in the coach of the living room and place my green shiny hat over my face, groaning.

"That's why it hurts," Niall says, making me to put away my hat and see him. He is raising a his shirt a little, revealing some small cuts in his stomach.
"When did that happen?" Liam asks, frowning.
"I don't know," Niall says, frowning as he touches his skin.
"Who stole my blue shirt?" Louis shouts from the other room.
"Was it yours?" Zayn asks from the bathroom, coughing.
"Ugh, keep it, please," Louis says, coming to the living room scrunching his nose. "Harry, young casanova, how is it going?"

He drops himself beside me on the coach and puts his arms around his neck.

"Perfect," I say, sighing with a wide smile on my face. "And what about Eleanor? I haven't heard anything about her, or Alana."
"She's fine, still in Manchester," he says, with a sad face. "I talked with her yesterday by a phone call, actually."
"Did something bad happen?"
"No. She just laughed a lot, and I miss hearing her laugh with me, not in a phone call."
"Aw, don't worry mate. You'll see her on... Tuesday?"
"Yes, I know," he replies, looking at his hands with a smirk.

I fall asleep by 2 AM after showering quickly. Today, it is my turn to sleep on the floor. It was supposed to be on the sofa before, but we decided to stay all in the bedroom.

I wake up at 4 AM because of a disturbing noise coming from outside. I hear, apart from the strong wind hitting the windows and a few thunder, some distant drums and chants. For a moment I think it must be another party, or another tourists, but then the noise becomes worse and louder.

I decide to stand up and open the curtains from the window, waiting to see people in the back pool or in Coconut Island. But what I only see is fog and a strong orange light beneath it. It seems like fire.

Fire? At this hours? Is it at least permitted? I need to check out who's there.

I put on some random converse from my suitcase and a sweatshirt and go running downstairs with one of the hotel cards, my phone, and the van keys, just if neccessary.

When I get to the pool, I see that the fog is not only near the window of the top rooms, but also on the ground.

So I walk between the creepy back part of the hotel. My heat beats faster as I get more near to the orange light. But what I see when I get the enough close to the light, makes my heart to stop beating for a few seconds.

Ghosts.

Several ghosts.

They are all walk in two lines, one for women and one for men. Each of them carry fire torches and sing a scary chant. Drums start playing again but this time louder, and a lightning shines in the night sky, following a thunder.

And that's when my brain and muscles start working again, and I run for my life to the van, which is closer than the hotel room. When I enter the van and close the door, I can breathe calmly and in relief.

What the fucking hell just damn happened?

I feel like my heart is going to get out of my chest and run away scared, too. I can barely think about anything but those scary spirits.

I look at my hands, starting to pray. A few minutes after I keep doing it, my hands are lightened up by an orange light. I look around and see a line of ghosts coming toward the parking lot.

"Holy shit!" I shout, searching for the keys in my pockets, but they aren't in any of them. I swear under my breathe as I search for them all around the van. When I end up looking for them in the floor with no success, I see a small sparkle near the back wheel of another car; the keys.

I get down of the van quickly with shaky legs and start running to that car. I pick them and turn to see the ghosts. They are getting closer. I run to the van once again and turn it on. A few seconds after that, I am already driving back into the city.

Before I do anything, I need to tell the guys to be aware and safe in the room. I click the first number of them that I see and wait for them to answer.

"Hello?" Liam answers with a sleepy voice.
"Liam, goddamn Liam, please don't leave the room, okay?" I say.
"Why would I leave the room at 4 AM?" he asks. "Wait, is there something wrong? Why aren't you here?"
"You wouldn't believe me," I reply, stopping the van because of a red light.
"Harry, where are you?" he keeps asking. "What happened? Are you okay?"
"Yes, I am going with Keanna, but don't leave the room, alright?"
"Harry..."
"Please."
"Mate, please stay safe."
"You too."

I hang up and dial this time Keanna.

"Harry? Is everything okay?" Keanna asks with a sleepy, but worried voice.
"Just open me the door when I arrive to your house, okay?"

This ghosts come from a Hawaiian legend. They are called "Night Marchers". Investigate about them, it's interesting. And some sights of them have happened in Hilo...

I know, this chapter was scary. But I needed to include this 😂🙈

I love you a lot, and do not follow the orange light ✌🏼
