"Hawaii is so little!" Josie exclaims. Keanna frowns and laughs. I frown at her too and she laughs even more.
"What are you doing here?" Keanna asks.
"The lads and me are having a super special mission," I say, making both of them laugh in confusion.
"I hope you are not leaving your musical carrier for working in the FIB," Keanna warns, "because you got talent boy."
I laugh and smile at the ground, blushing a little.
"Take your sits girls!" I exclaim, pointing at the two empty chairs in the opposite side of the table. "Or are you gonna stay there forever?"
"Mmm I am going for the coffees," Josie says. Then she smirks to Keanna and raises her eyebrows. "Keanna, may you sit with Harry so he's not alone?"
"I was going to do it anyways, Josie," Keanna says, rolling her eyes. Josie walks away and Keanna sits in a chair. "So, tell me Harry, were you enjoying being in an empty table, alone, drinking a coffee, looking to the dark sky through the window..."
"I promise I'm not a Tumblr guy," I say, making her laugh. Though, in all the time I looked through the window, I didn't notice how dark the sky became. Small grey clouds bump into bigger and darker clouds, all about to break in tears.
Keanna is dressed in another flower dress and vintage brown boots. Her hair is combed down and is perfectly shiny. Pretty more tropical than me. I am wearing my Kiss t-shirt, the same jeans I wore yesterday and white converse. But I didn't even looked at my hair back in the hotel. Would she even matter Harry? No, concentrate.
"Harry," Keanna says, focusing my attention. "May I ask you something?"
"You already did," I say, taking a sip from my coffee.
"Another thing?" she asks.
"You already did," I repeat, laughing.
"Ugh, two more things?"
"Yeah, of course you can!"
"Can you tell Niall to spend a day with Josie?" she asks. Her eyes are full of sparkle of hope.
"Hmm and where did that came from?" I ask.
"Well, you know she's a fangirl and have always liked all of you," Keanna says. "But she says that when Niall smiled at her in the campfire... she felt something. And she's the typical psycho that predicts things and has feelings about everything. And sometimes she's right so..."
She is talking faster and faster.
"Keanna!" I exclaim, laughing. "It's okay! I'll talk with Niall!"
"Really? Thank you! Thank you!" Keanna says, jumping a little in her seat. "This is a good time for a hug, isn't it?"
She stands up and opens her arms, smiling. Now that I think of it, we have never hugged each other. Like, ever...
"Harry, my arms hurt!" Keanna says, moving like a penguin.
I roll my eyes and stand up. She wraps her arms around me as well as I do with her. I can feel her soft breathe in my neck. I can smell her vanilla perfume for the second time. I feel warmness, security, and affection all together in a hypnotic poison. Then, I feel a small shock and immediately separate from her hold. I regret stop feeling what I felt. By the look on Keanna's face, she felt the shock, too.
"What was that?" she asks, laughing nervously. She rubs her arms and frowns to the ground.
"I don't know," I say, laughing. Then, Keanna starts exhaling and inhaling loudly, just like in the restaurant. She is shaking.
"Are you okay?" I ask, erasing my smile.
"T-tell Josie I'll be in the car, bye," she says quickly and goes out of the Starbuck's.
Fuck, what's happening? I walk toward the door, not thinking about the lads and Josie at all. By the time I notice it, I am running. When I get out, some water droplets slap my face softly. My not combed hair starts getting wet. I find Keanna's car really fast as it is the one in front of me. She's leaning against the steering wheel. I run to the co-pilot door and knock the window.
"Let me in," I say, softly.
She shakes her head and waves with her hand, trying to make me go. I am not going.
"Open please," I beg. She keeps shaking her head. "I won't go until you let me in and tell me you are okay. Raining or not."
She then raises her head and looks at me. Her eyes are really red. Tears shine across her cheeks. I feel a small chest pain. Now that I realize it, I don't like to see her sad. Since I met her, 90% of all have been jokes, smiles, positivity, adventures. But the other 10% have been confusions, secrets, mysteries, worries. That 10% breaks me everytime a little more. I've just realized that, too.
My shirt is starting to soak. I feel it heavy. My hair is falling. Keanna then presses a button in her door and as fast as I can I open the door and sit in the co-pilot seat. When I close it again, I shiver a little.
"Sorry," Keanna says.
"What happened there?" I ask, ignoring what she said.
"I... it was just... mmm..." she thinks.
"No lies," I say.
"I'll not lie!" she defends. "It was an air cast again. It's typical for me."
"An air cast Keanna? Really?" I ask. "There was something really wrong back there. It wasn't something as simple as an air cast."
"It was," she says.
"Keanna," I whisper.
"How do you even know I am lying?" she asks, crying.
"Because I can feel it," I say, grabbing her hand. She refuses and looks away.
"Harry I am okay, okay?" she says. "You can go."
"I won't go," I say.
"Then I'll do it," she says, getting out of the car. I do the same but much faster. Almost slipping, I get to her and put both of my hands in her shoulders, making her look at me.
"Listen to me," I say. Her face is full with anger and she tries to leave my hold, but right now she's really weak.
"Let go!" she exclaims.
"You need to listen!" I exclaim loudly, calling her attention. "You can trust me with anything."
"I don't want you to see me like this," she says, ignoring me. "It's better that you leave me alone."
"It's better that there's someone by your side, helping you," I say. She sighs and relaxes. She looks at me and then at the ground.
"You can trust me," I repeat, letting her free of my hold.
"I know," she says, sobbing again. She then starts crying again and hugs me. We stay like that until she controls.
"Thank you Harry," she whispers in my ear. "I'm much better now."
"Thanks God," I whisper, exhaling. I didn't even notice that I was holding my breathe. "I was worried."
"I'm better now."
"I believe you."
We separate from our hug and stare at each other, like verifying that everything's right in both of our eyes. Now I realize I am soaked, literally soaked. And so is she. She looks at my shirt and laughs, making me smile.
"Keanna!" somebody shouts; Josie. We turn around to see her and the lads coming toward us. "Gosh, Harry!"
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Zayn asks, covering his head with his bare arm.
"It's raining guys!" Louis exclaims, obvious.
"What were you doing?" Liam asks.
"Keanna's car wasn't working correctly," I say. Keanna looks at me and I smile. "I used some of my skills."
"Do you have skills in cars Harry?" Niall asks.
"Yeah, lots," I lie.
"Well you are fucking crazy," Louis says.
"Stop swearing and let's go inside," Keanna says. Josie and the guys run fast to the restaurant, but Keanna and I go walking.
"Thanks Haz," Keanna says.
"For what?" I ask, making her to say it aloud on purpose. She rolls her eyes.
"For fixing my car and helping me," she says, winking her right eye. "No much people does that."
</3 Thanks for fixing my car *winks an eye* xx
