"Hawaii," Louis shouts. "Louis arrived!"
"Hawaii doesn't cares," I say.

We are finally out of the airport in Hilo. The air that enters to my lungs, is incredibly fresh and clean. There are palm trees randomly placed around the entrance, and some are in rows in the middle of the street. The sun is hiding and the stars are appearing, leaving the sky painted in a deep blue color. And even though it is October, the weather is perfectly... perfect.

"So, when does the rented van arrives here? You rented it, right Zayn?" Liam says.
"Rented van?" Zayn says, confused.
"Wait, I told you to..."
"Kidding!" he says and laughs. "It's coming at 8:10."
"It's just 7:25!" Niall says looking at his watch.
"Why don't we go to the restaurant in the airport?" Liam says.
"It's closed," I say.
"Huh? Why?" Louis asks.
"I don't know, I saw it closes at 7:00 pm," I say.
"Isn't there another one?" Louis says and I shake my head.
"Well, there are some cocktails," I say.
"Really?" Niall asks, excited.
"Oh, yeah," Zayn says. "But it's closed, too."
"Isn't there something open in the airport?" Liam asks.
"The newsstand and the gift shop," I say.
"I didn't came to Hawaii to read the newspaper," Louis says, laughing.
"Some of us may bring us food then," Zayn says. "We aren't far, right?"
"We are really near of the main road," I say, shrugging.
"No, but we don't know what's in here," Liam says. "It's dangerous."
"So you are saying that we must wait an hour here?" Zayn asks.
"Yes," Louis says grabbing his suitcase and going back to the airport.
"What are you doing?" Zayn and Niall ask.
"Going to the gift shop," he says.

Zayn, Liam, and Niall sit in one of the plant printed sofas, admiring their souvenirs, while Louis and me finish looking around the store. Liam uses the floral printed shirt he bought with his sunnies, which makes him look 1% more Hawaiian, Niall plays with his Obama bobble-head doll, which wears a similar shirt as Liam and an ukulele, and Zayn watches his necklace.

"Look," I say pointing to the ukuleles in a table.
"They look nice," Louis says.
"What if..." I look at him, so he understands.
"That's a good idea," Louis says, laughing. "That will make the guys happier."

We grab one ukulele each and the rest of our things. Louis has two bracelets, while I get some lava rocks.

We place our things in the counter and I pay first.

"Hey, buddy," the cashier says, "are you sure you wanna take this rocks?"
"Yeah, why shouldn't I?" I ask.
"Some say they might bring you a curse," she says.
"It's alright," I say, laughing along with Louis.

We finish paying and make company to the guys in the sofas.

"Niall, do you want to hear us play a melody for you?" Louis asks, pointing at me.
"Huh?" he asks laughing. "You don't have instruments."

We both take out our ukuleles at nearly the same time.

"Do you even know how to play them?" Zayn asks, laughing.
"No," I say.

After a time of laughing and doing a few weird things, Niall tell us it's already 8:13, and we get outside of the airport.

"It's really dark now," Zayn says. The sky was already dark blue, and if it wasn't because of the airport lights, we won't see anything.
"Do you think it will really arrive?" I start saying after a while.
"Hey," Niall says, pointing at the road, "that's the van?"

Magically, the lights of an old Volkswagen Van appear. It stops slowly in front of the airport. It has color white at the top and color turquoise at the bottom. The conductor, who couldn't be seen clearly seen, shuts the door loudly and walks toward us.

"The guy is angry," Louis whispers to me.

But the angry guy turns to be a smiley girl. She has a flat blonde hair, which was just a few centimeters below her shoulders. Her eyes fade in a wonderful blue. She wears a flower dress and golden sandals. And the most noticeable thing was her smile. She was still smiling and playing with the tips of her fingers.

"Aloha, visitors," she says, laughing. "Sorry for being late, but I had troubles at home and the traffic was simply terrible. But it's Friday! Yay!"

Her positivity made me us laugh a little.

"I bet you are hungry," she says. "You didn't walk to the city for food, right?"
"I wanted to," Zayn says.
"Well, you could have found a Subway, a Taco Bell, a Dairy Queen, a Starbucks," she says.
"There was a Subway?" Niall asks, obviously hungry.
"Yeah," the girl says, "and it was assaulted a few minutes ago."
"Told ya it was dangerous..." Liam says.
"So you are the intelligent one," she says, making us laugh. "Here you have the keys."
"Thanks," Liam says, grabbing them.
"I can drive," Louis says.
"No," I say, "I don't want to get arrested in my vacations."

The girl starts laughing, showing a wide smile.

"Well," she says, "as I said, I bet you are hungry. And I thought of how late I was going to arrive here and that there's no food in the airport at these hours, so..."

Then she opened the co-pilot door and got a white carton box out carefully. Her golden nails called my attention a few seconds.

"So I prepared you muffins before I went to school!" she exclaims happily handing the box to Niall.
"Muffins!" he shouts and opens the box rapidly, making her laugh.
"Mahalo, that's very generous," I say, making her smile when I say mahalo, which means thank you in Hawaiian language.
"Thank you," Niall says, already eating one.
"He me iki ia," she says, calling the others attention. As she sees we are confused, she laughs and says, "It's a small thing."
"Oh," we say, laughing.
"But you are not allergic to nuts, right?" she asks, and we shake our heads. "Great! Then you'll love them."
"I already do," Louis says, with his mouth full.
"But you are really thin," she says looking at me, as I am the only one who has not picked one. "Eat some! They aren't poisoned."

I grab one with a smile from the box, mine being really tiny, and taste it. It has a familiar and lovely flavor. Of course, the weren't artificially made.

I exclaim after finishing it, "They are very delicious!"
"Of course they are!" she exclaims as me. "It has my secret ingredient!"
"Then, the secret ingredient works," I say, laughing.
"Why are some so tiny?" Zayn says.
"They look so cute!" Louis says in a tiny voice.
"Oh," she says, laughing. "I have some some molds for big ones, medium ones, and small ones. I call small ones, like those, muffin bites."
"That's cool," Liam says, looking at one and then eating it.
"Well, I have to go," she says looking at the phone that was in a pocket from her dress. "It was nice to meet you! You are really funny!"
"You are the funny one," Liam says, making her smile once again.
"Thank you," she says, "oh, I almost forgot. This is my uncle phone, call him if the van doesn't works." She hands me the card and smiles warmly, as her fingertips were. "He makes a nice work."
"So you don't work there?" I ask.
"No," she says obvious. "I just help him when he needs it. Maybe if you call, I'll answer."
"That'll be nice," I say.
"And maybe I'll not answer you, and an old, fat man will," she says, laughing.
"How are you going?" Louis asks.
"My uncle parked a car here this morning," she says. "Aloha!"
"I thought we were saying goodbye," Niall says.
"Aloha means hello, goodbye, and..." I start.
"Love," she finishes for me.
"Yes," I say, smiling. Why am I smiling that much?
"Aloha then," Niall says.
"Aloha!" we all shout.

She laughs a little and looks at me; her eyes penetrating me like rays. She then waves and walks to the parking besides the airport, smiling.

Wait, what was her name?

Fuck.
