The Cold - Hearted Assassin

Chapter 15

Ria's p.o.v.

I woke up by the sound of my alarm clock. I looked over to see it was only 6:00 a.m.

"Ugh," I groaned loudly that I think I woke up Ash and Hunter because they yelled "SHUT UP!"

I looked over the side of my bed and saw something shiny, my alarm was still ringing and I was to lazy to reach so I took the baseball bat underneath my bed and just smashed it. I don't need to wake up to this everyday, I'm fucking 18. I don't go to school anymore, I can wake up late if I choose to.

Hunter walks into the room saying, "Actually you can't just wake up late when you want to, Commander De Ville is calling us to his office."

"Oh my god Hunter. Stop going in my head it's rude." I say while yawning and stretching.

"Anyways, get ready. We have to be down in 30 minutes. Also you might wanna take a really long shower. You look disgusting." She says to me in a joking way.

"Wow thanks." I look down to see that I'm still wearing the dress from last night and I smudged a lot of my make up onto the dress.

"And fix your face," she says walking out the door. Are they going to keep using that to insult me? Like does my face look broken?

I get up and head to the washroom. I turned the shower all the way making it really warm, it felt nice. I get out of the shower and see that I didn't get a towel or underwear, and my room was at across the living room. I call for Hunter Or Ash but got no response, I guess they went down already. I see a face towel and take it, it should be enough to cover up my lady parts. I walk out of the washroom trying to go quickly pass the living room. But a figure caught my eye, I stop and see who it was. I shouldn't have done that.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY DORM YOU STUPID ASS PERVERT!" I yell at the top of my lungs.

I've never seen the boy so flustered in his life.
"Ooh- ummm.. I was trying to -- ahh just... I don't know what to --- can you please just put on a pair of clothes," I realized that I still wasn't wearing any clothes, not that I wasn't proud of my smoking hot body.

I put on a pair of yoga pants and loose sweater.
I walk back into the living room seeing a blushing brown haired boy.

"So Axel what are you doing here?" I ask since he did watch me run across the living room naked.

"Well.. Um I just wanted to ask you if you can come with me to the mall to buy something for a girl." He says with hesitation.

I don't know why, but I felt my chest tighten a little. "Umm. Who is it for?" Hoping not to hear the answer I was thinking.

"I can't say for now, it's too embarrassing but can you? I don't know what girls like."

"Uh okay, sure." I say quietly.

I tell him that I have to go to the commander's office so we both left the dorm awkwardly and separated ways. He went left and I went right. But the odd thing was, the first thing that came into my head after leaving the dorm was, "I'm right cuz you left".

I walk into the room very awkwardly since I was late.

"Well finally, you're all here." Tito says while glaring at me, I guess he didn't like waiting.

"Actually Axel is not here," Hunter reminds him.

"No, I called you here because we don't have any leads on Des Wan yet since he's staying low. So while we wait, we might as well do another mission. And this mission does not involve Axel. It is a mission in Italy, from what I hear from reports. There is a man sucking the souls out of innocent human beings, devouring the souls and eating the rest of the body. This is an S class mission making it quite tough."

"Well I can probably handle that guy, why am saying probably. I know I can beat that guy." I say boastfully.

"Here is the equipment that you MUST use to accomplish this mission."

The commander reveals this thin suit case. We open it in anxiety wondering what weapon it was. Ashlyn opens the case, but to our surprise it was only a metal stick.

"What are we suppose to do with this? Do you expect us to beat the crap out of him and that's how we accomplish the mission." Hunter says so sarcastically.

"No you have to do this." Tito removes the metal stick and presses a hidden button. The stick grows three times its length and the end has a sharp curvy thingy.

"This is a scythe. This is the only weapon that can kill a man as strong as him." Tito says.

We all take a step back to see the weapon. Hunter and I started hitting each other wanting to play with the weapon already. I look at Ashlyn seeing her drool while looking at the scythe.

"Sadly, I can only give it to one person who has been showing the best performance from you three." Tito hands the scythe to Hunter. I felt a little jealousy inside me, I really gotta step up my game.

"Awwww, this is so cool, thanks Tito," Hunter says with excitement.

"But we can play with it right?" I obviously ask wanting to try the scythe.

Tito just nods and we run out the room to test the weapon outside in the combat field. Hunter tries is first since she had to learn how to use it. For her first try, I know she did it perfectly. The glide of the blade cut through the air making me want to play with it more.

"Let me try Hunter." I say with urgency. She hands it to me and I the force of the scythe made a post nearby fall over. But I know this weapon is going to be very useful for my torturing sessions with supernaturals. I hand it to Ask thinking it was only fair to. She grabs it and just starts swinging it at random directions almost cutting off my head.

"I have an idea, let's play tag with the death scythe." Ash suggests but before we can reply she started running after us with the scythe.

We play a few more rounds but we called it a day since we had to leave for Italy the next day.
