The Cold - Hearted Assassin

Chapter 3

Ria's p.o.v.

After 9 months of training was a hell of a time, I struggled at some parts of the learning because I had to contain my anger. I managed to pin him 3 times but he would always catch me off guard and flip me over. I would be so pissed off that I would walk out the room.

" Come on Ria, did you take any type of martial arts before?" Tito asked.

"I use to take Tae Kwan do when I was 13," I replied

"Well use the techniques that they taught you, so let's try it again," he told me.

"Fine," I replied as he started throwing swings at me, I dodged most of his hits. Then I remembered a technique that my master taught me. If I had the perfect timing for a dodge I could hit my opponents leg, it can cause it to go numb for a few minutes. It gave me enough time to pin my opponent down.

I waited for the right moment to duck and hit his leg. He tried a round house kick but I hit his leg which made it numb. He lost his balance and fell to the ground, I took that as a perfect opportunity to pin him down. I went on top of him and kept my legs locked on his waist so he won't move.

"I think you, Hunter and Ash are ready for your first mission," he told me smiling. I smiled and looked for Hunter and Ashlyn and see them with thumbs up and proud smiles. How did they both pin Tito down before I did? I mean Ashlyn is not that smart of a person and Hunter is clumsy. That question kept wandering around my head but I shrugged it off, maybe they're both just really good fighters.

The next day*

Hunter came into the room and said, "Guys, captain Deville is calling us down. He said it had something to do with our first mission."

I jolted out of bed and said," Are you serious. I thought he meant we could go on a mission in a month, not the next day."

I turned around and saw Ash running around the room while yelling," We are so awesome, we gonna be assassins."

"So go and get ready, we're leaving in 10 minutes. I'll wait in the living room," Hunter said laughing at Ash's reaction.

I walked in to my closet and chose black stretchy leather pants, a dark purple off the shoulder crop top with a pink tank top underneath. I paired my outfit with black Adidas wedges and put my hair in a high pony. When I came out of the room, I saw Hunter and Ash waiting patiently. Well, Hunter was waiting patiently, Ash was bouncing around the apartment.

"Ready to go?" I asked them, they both nodded and we left.

At captain Deville's office*

"So girls, since it's your first mission, I'll make it a bit easy. You have to work together to find a man who kidnaps people and takes 80% of their blood which leads to their deaths. From our spies information, he drinks the blood while the victims die right in front of him," Tito said calmly

"You mean like a vampire," I asked him a little curious that supernaturals actually exist.

"Yes, exactly like a vampire. Anyways you leave today for your trip, you'll be heading to New Orleans. All the information will be in this folder, so good luck agents," he said as he saluted us. Hunter took the folder and we made our way.

When we got to the dorm I said aloud," Can you believe it? our first mission is to take down a vampire." I'm feeling a lot of pride right now since captain Deville gave us a supernatural mission.

"Definitely," Ash said really excited. Hunter looked through the folder but she still nodded.

"We have to leave in an hour to catch up with our flight at 7:00 later on," Hunter said still looking through the folder.

"Kay, we'll go pack now," I said as I grabbed Ashlyn's hand.

"Ooohhhhhh, I'm being dragged," Ashlyn said sounding a bit high with the way she was talking and the way she was swinging her arms everywhere. I just rolled my eyes and laughed.

At the motel*

"Okay so it says here that his staying at that luxurious hotel across the street," I said," So what are we gonna do?" I asked Hunter.

"We'll just break down his door and knock some sense up his brain that he can't just kill innocent people," Hunter said thinking about the plan in her head.

"It's sounds good," I said thinking of a way to use the element of surprise.

"Nawww, I think we should break down his door, throw oranges at him and accuse him for what he has done," Ashlyn said.

Hunter fell to the ground laughing, her laugh was contagious so after a minute I was laying on the floor next to her laughing my a** off.

"What's so funny?" Ash asked a little confused.

"Ash, your plan made no sense," Hunter said in between laughs.

"Hmph, I was actually serious," Ash said pouting then crossing her arms. "You guys are b**ches," she said, we doubled over on our laughter.

After me and Hunter sobered up , I said," let's go put our plan into action."
They both nodded smiling, then we were off.

In the luxurious hotel*

"This is a very nice hotel," I said looking around.

"Too bad it's gonna get wrecked," Ashlyn said. I looked at her in shock, it's as if she read my mind

"What? Do I have cake on my face or something?" Ash asked feeling her face.

"No, it's just that you said the exact same thing I was thinking," I told her

"Really! that's so coo-,"Ashlyn said before getting cut off by Hunter.

" Guys come on focus," she said. We took our positions, Hunter was gonna count me in on when to kick the door. She put up three fingers, the two, then one. I kicked the door to come face to face with a pale man with a shocked face.

"We're her to tell you that if you don't stop your doings we will be forced to assassinate to you," Hunter said fiercely.

The man gained composure and said with a thick Romanian accent," Ah, assassins." he paused and took a glass with red liquid in it which I presume is blood. I scrunched my nose in disgust,
" You little girls think you can take me down?" He asked,"Well you're wrong," he said before standing up and using his vampire speed to come to me. I managed to dodge him, but I spoke too soon. He turned around and went straight for my neck, I screamed in pain. I saw Hunter and Ashlyn run towards him at an inhumanly fast speed. They took him off of me, I was loosing massive amounts of blood then I was seeing black dots in my vision.

But the last thing I heard was vampire man saying,"She is going to die and when she wakes up, you have to feed her blood for her to complete the transformation or she dies." He laughed evilly at the end, I felt shivers go down my spine.

That's when I thought what will I become after this transformation. then everything went black.
