I pulled up behind that Impala around the corner from the farm that was listed as the delivery man's address. "Why are they always so typically the same?" I asked jumping out of my Hummer.
"I guess that's the good thing about them, so we know where to find them." Sam said as Dean tried to hand me a machete.
"Woah there handsome, I've got my own gear." I chuckled walking to the back of my car. I opened up the back to show my collection.
"Holy hell..." I heard Dean's deep voice say behind.
"If you're impressed now, just wait until later." I turned around and winked at him before I reached in and grabbed my long Kabar knife. "Ready?" I asked.
"Alright, Dean, you take the front, distract them while Deanna and I take the back." Sam says taking a few steps towards the shack.
"Why do I always have to be the bait?" Dean asked holding his ground.
"Fine, I'll go in the front. Happy?" Sam looks at him not wanting to argue.
Dean looked at me with a small smile and winked. I just rolled my eyes. As soon as Sam was out of view, Dean and I started to move around to the back of the building.
"You sure you know how to use that right, Princess?" Dean smirks at me.
"Yes, and probably better than you do." I retort.
"Oh Miss Tough Girl.." He teases and I playfully hit him.
"Be careful there, Winchester. I might just need to save your ass one day."
"You know, I like the way my name rolls off your tongue. I'd like maybe something else to-"
"I think Sam's ready for us." I say, cutting him off on purpose. He nodded and I could see the look on his face change; he was in hunter mode now.
We slipped through the back entrance of the building where we heard a voice talking.
"Well, well, well if it isn't Sam Winchester himself. To be honest, I would have thought you would have been a little bit more careful and not slip up while hunting due to your reputation." The vampire that I had a clear view of had said.
"Don't get too cocky Dennis, you know he always hunts with his brother. Oh Dean, where are you?" The other vamp that I could only see part of him taunted.
I looked over to Dean as he put his index finger to his lips, gesturing me to stay quiet and to follow behind him in the shadows.
"Oh look at that, you caught me." He said bluntly, walking into their view. "What are we to do now? Two against two seems pretty fair. Why don't we see who's the better hunters." He nodded to his brother.
The two vamps looked at each other and smiled. "Sure, why not?" The one who was called Dennis said with a cheeky grin before running towards Dean. The brothers began fighting the two monsters while I waited in the background if assistance was needed. No use in wasting my energy if it wasn't needed. I watched as the brothers moved in almost unison while fighting the two beasts. They would give a hit and then take a hit; the battle looked almost like a dance to me.
I could tell that the fight was coming to an end when I saw that Sam had gained control over the vamp he was fighting and Dean was throwing his last punches into the monster's face. Just as soon as Dean had lifted him machete, he let it glide down the neck of the vampire, detaching its head from its body.
"That's what you get you son of a bitch." Dean said lifting his head then turning to me and giving me his heart stopping smirk. I couldn't help but smile back at him. That's when I saw her charging for him. Vamp number three.
"Dean look out!" I shouted as instinct took over and I began to run. I felt like my feet could move me fast enough to him. Just as the other vamp reached him, I tackled her to the ground, instantly throwing my knife into her chest then across her neck.
I stood up panting as I wiped the blood from my face. I looked over to Dean as he just stood in awe for a second. "How many times am I going to have to save you, Winchester?" I asked with a wink.
He smiled back as Sam walked up to him. "We better check the rest of the place to make sure there are none left." Sam said patting his brother's shoulder.
We walked up and down the rest of the halls of the empty warehouse to find that it was now, in fact, empty. We walked out to our cars with smiles on our faces from a good hunt.
I threw my knife into the back of my car and slammed it shut. "So..." I started. "This is where we part ways...?" I asked as more of a question then a definite answer. It was silent for a second.
The silence was broken by Sam's loud clearing of his throat. "Dean, can I, uh, talk to you for a sec?" He asked as Dean nodded his head and followed his brother to a few feet away. I tried to listen and lean in closer to them without them noticing but finally stopped, defeated by the distance between us.
A little over a minute later the boys turned back to me and walked my way. "Deana." The sound of my name rolling nicely from the back of Dean's throat.
I nodded my head to him to let him know he had my attention. "We don't really do this often so think of this as a one-time opportunity." He said trying to come off not excited. "But, Sam and I would love it if you would join us for a little bit, try hunting as a threesome."
I smile spread wide across my face as I looked between the two brothers. " I'd like that." I said as my eyes fell into Dean's deep green ones.
"That settles it, let's head back to the bunker. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed." Sam said walking towards his typical passengers side door.
"Hey Sammy," Dean said throwing the keys to the Impala to his brother. "Why don't we meet you there?"
Sam caught the keys and got in the car, turning her one, waiting for the two of us. Dean walked over and opened the driver's door and held out a helping hand. "After you." He smiled at me and helped me into the car of the Hummer. He quickly walked around to his side and got in.
"To the bunker." He smiled at me while taking my hand and we sped off behind Sam to the place the boys called home.
