Spending Time

I woke up early morning with Paya curled into a ball between my neck and shoulders. I looked over towards Axel and Lu to see if they were still asleep.

Axel and Lu were still sleeping, as Lu hugged onto Axel.

I couldn't help but smile but I slowly and carefully got up, holding Paya. She was already awake anyways.

I gently set her down and went to the kitchen to make breakfast when I heard a knock on the door. I went to go open it and found a large but beautiful bouquet of light pink carnations and roses in black wrap and sprinkled with pink pearly dust.

I gasped softly by how pretty they were. There was also a doggy chew toy tied with a pink Ribbon and a tag that said Paya. My eyes sparkled and gently picked up the bouquet and the chew toy.

" Look, mamash~" I said happily as I closed the door.

She wagged her tail and I untied the ribbon before handing it to her. She immediately started chewing on it and I giggled.

Lu walked over yawning softly but happily.

" Ohh what's that~" He said while holding Axel's arm, basically dragging him.

Axel rubbed his eyes as he yawned a little.

" A very fancy and pretty bouquet of light pink carnations and roses and a chew toy for Paya. " I said before looking at Axel happily. " You're so romantic and sweet~" I said.

He yawned again and raised his eyebrow confused before looking at the flowers and looking at Paya's chew toy before sighing a little.

" Love.... those aren't from me." He rubbed his eyes a bit. " Give me a moment to do something really quick." He said and pulled his phone out to make a quick call.

My smile immediately faded away and I looked at the card between the flowers and read it.

' For the prettiest of angels - Adam'

" Oh.... " I said, disappointed.

I felt a tear escape from my eye but I instantly wiped it away and cleared my throat.

" What do you want for breakfast, Lu?" I asked right away.

Lu walked over to me and hugged me.

" Waffles, but I want to help make them as well~" He said.

I hugged back and kissed his forehead, giggling softly.

" Alright. Extra blueberries?" I said.

He nodded his head happily.

" Mhmm~!" He said.

I giggled again.

" Alright. Anything for you." I said.

I grabbed everything we needed and I started making waffles with Lu's help. I noticed Paya running around happily with her new chew toy.

I phone then start ringing and I answered without looking at the number since I was too busy making waffles.

" Hello?" I said.

> " Why, Good morning, pretty princess~ What did you think of the flowers I sent you?" < Adam said.

" Oh-- They were... really pretty.... Thabk you. Paya loves the toy..." I said, still feeling a bit disappointed.

> " I'm glad. I made sure to get the best ones for the most prettiest girl my eyes has ever seen~" <

I sighed softly before looking at Lu. Lu looked at me and poked my cheek before giggling. I couldn't help but giggle.

" Anywho, Thanks again. I'll try to keep healthy long enough." I said to Adam.
