As we hoped, Axel Dean became friends with Edigan and all was good, him having his healed face back. I actually had more freedom now that I found out that my mother was Blood Cryer.

Damon still didnt have the freedom I did yet I still helped him along with Red Plague Rebels to get their freedom... But I... Was still dating Arkadi Turgenev.

Things never did change between us... He was still abusive and did what he wanted. I loved him but he didn't love me... I'm sure of it.

Anywho... Months later, I got to finally meet Axel Dean when he decided to visit Mr. Turgenev since he was his father figure. I was actually living there because I moved in with Arkadi. I was the one who opened the door when Axel knocked.

" Oh... Hello. " I said, looking up at him.

He looked down to me and nodded. He had his hands in his pockets.

" Hello to you as well." He said.

" Ah, If it isn't my other son." Mr. Turgenev chuckled as he walked down the stairs.

I walked away from the door so Axel could walk in. Arkadi then walked downstairs as well.

" Oh great..." Arkadi muttered.

" Thanks." Axel smiled a bit to me before walking inside, looking at them.

He waved his hand a little.

" Pops, nice to see you again." He said.

I closed the door. Mr. Turgenev opened his mouth to speak but Evengi, his trusted bodygaurd, called out to him.

" Boss!"

" One moment. I'll be back in a bit." He said to Axel before walking to the other room.

Arkadi sighed before looking at me.

" Go get me a box of cigarettes." He said.

" But... I'm tired... I helped clean around." I said softly.

" I didn't ask if you were tired. I said go do it." Arkadi hissed.

I sighed softly as I crossed my arms.

" Okay...." I said as I started walking over to the door.

" No. You, stop." Axel said looking at me and then at him. " She said she was tired and you have a pair of legs that work well, so go and do it yourself or ask someone else who isn't tired."

I looked at Axel before looking at Arkadi. Arkadi crossed his arms before glaring at me. I looked at Axel.

" I'm... Fine with it." I said before placing my hand on the door knob.

Axel looked at me.

" I'll go with you then.." He walked over to me.

" No, no. Mr. Turgenev will be waiting for you and--"

" Then we'll make it quick, he won't mind." He opened the door and motioned at me to go first.

I looked over at Arkadi but he didn't seem to really care at all so I nodded and walked out.

We both walked out, going to the nearest store but I was limping when I walked. He looked at me when he took notice before stopping.

" Why are you letting him treat you like that?" He asked.

" Treat me like what...?" I asked softly.

" Like sh*t, you're literally limping while you walk--" He sighed softly before walking in front of me and crouching down. " Just hop on my back. I'll carry you."
