Sara x Jax | I did too

Notes: This story is after crisis on earth X, when Jax left. There will be mentions of Avalance.

Sara was sitting on a chair, in the bridge drinking scotch and thinking about her new crush, Ava Sharpe. When she heard footsteps approaching, and for a not unknown reason, she guessed it was Jax. And she was right.

"You're sure you want to do this?" Sara asked to the young man approaching her.

"How did you know it was me?" Asked Jax quite intrigued with the blonde's guessing skills.

"Didn't answer my question."

"Yeah, I'm sure. I already said goodbye to everyone."

"Alright then. Get your stuff and meet me out side." Said the captain leaving the room.

After saying goodbye to Gideon and leaving the Waverider, Jax went to meet Sara outside like she said. When he got there he saw something that he sure wasn't gonna forget.

"SURPRISE!!" All the Legends yelled at the same time.

"You didn't honestly think I was gonna let you leave just like that." Said Sara.

"I did because that is exactly what normal people would do." Said Jax, getting a little emotional.

"Well, you should know by now, we're not normal." Said Zari giving him a hug and going back inside just like the rest of the group did. Except Sara.

"Thank you, Sara." Said Jax, grateful his friend did exactly what he expected she wouldn't do.

"That's what friends are for."

"You know, now that I'm leaving I have a confession." Said Jax and Sara raised an eyebrow. "When all of this started, I have to admit, I had a little crush on you. I thought that you were the most badass person I'd ever seen."

"What changed that?" Asked Sara.

"Oh, You still are the most badass person I've ever seen. But, I saw the way you looked at Ava. Just ask her out. I'm pretty sure she'd be more than flattered."

"Yeah, you'd think that."

"I don't think it, I know it." Said Jax walking away.

"You don't wanna know the answer?!" Asked Sara when Jax was already a couple meters away.

"The answer to what?!" Asked Jax.

"The answer to your confession you dumbass!"

"I don't need to know the answer!" Those were the last words he said to the Captain before leaving.

Sara walked back inside the Waverider and went to bed since it was late. All that she could think about that night was Jax's confession.

"I did too." Were the words she said before turning off the lights and drifting off to sleep.

I know this is short but it's the best I could come up with since this isn't a regular ship, and it's really hard thinking of something that could make sense with these two. The damn spinning wheel really wasn't on my side today.
