Oh no. The guy with grey eyes is standing in front of me. And his keys are on the ground. Well, not exactly in front, but he is visible to me. He's in the parking lot, talking to someone over the phone.I remember the series of thoughts I had in English class, and my cheeks burn up. How do I face him after that? Well, it is not like he is aware of the events that took place in your mind. I don't need you right now. Go away. Of course, you wouldn't need your brain in situations like this. Because brain or not, you always tend to mess up!
He seems oblivious to the keys fallen on the ground. Should I tell him?
No, of course not. What? You should, dumbass! Is that even something that you must ask?
He is kinda intriguing and scary. I take in a deep breath and approach him. I pick the keys from the ground and give them to him. He is startled by my presence but quickly recovers and takes the keys. He smiles and nods, mouthing a thank you. His smile, so captivating, that it manages to knock me out of breath. It's very beautiful.
My heart, still racing wildly, has stirred a new chain of feelings. I immediately break out of my thoughts as he raises his eyebrows. Flustered, I hastily scurry away from there. I can still feel his confused eyes on my back. Red with embarrassment, I get into my car.
Oh god, you are a fool! Now he must be thinking that you are completely weird! I know, I know. Ugh.

"Ave, did you know? People say he was a delinquent at his last school and that he bullied people. So to cover up his nasty past, he came here to start afresh." Shea tells while preparing a customer's order. We both work at this cafe after school hours. I wanted a distraction from the lonely and empty house, and Shea wanted some extra pocket money.
"Hmm? Who?" I ask, lost in my thoughts. Yeah, thinking about a certain someone, aren't we? I don't know why he camps in my brain 24/7, free of rent, but he does. There is something off about him, and he is always silent. He's interesting. And attractive. Yes, yes, we get it.
"Hello? Earth to Ave? You didn't listen to anything I was saying, did you?" Shea comes closer and looks into my eyes.
"Huh? Sorry, what? Who is the delinquent again?" I ask, diverting my eyes, ashamed of my thoughts.
"The new guy, who else?" she states in a duh tone.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, how did you come to that conclusion?" I raise my eyebrows.
"I heard this from someone else. I have no idea if it is the truth, and that is why I am only telling this to you and not Isaac."
"But it doesn't make sense... Moreover, you shouldn't believe rumors, Shea! You could be in trouble for it!" I scold her, avoiding the topic of the grey-eyed boy.
