I see two small kids playing on a beach. One was a girl with short blonde hair and a boy with brown hair and grey eyes. Those eyes seem familiar. The girl is sitting with her back facing me, and the boy is opposite her.
"Kids! What are you doing?" A lady asks, coming out of a house. The kids looked up, smiling, and ran towards her.
"Aunt J, we are making a sandcastle. Will you look at it?" The boy asks.
"I would've loved to look at it. But sweethearts, I need to go out to buy some groceries for dinner. So, go inside now, since it is getting late."
"But Aun-" the kids start to whine.
"No, darling. It's late, so you should go inside."
"Okay, Aunt J" they look down, pouting.
These kids are so adorable that if I was in Aunt J's place, I couldn't resist their pouts. I thought she would melt, but she doesn't.
"How about you go inside while I buy you candies?"
"Candies? Really, Aunt J?" the kids beam.
"Of course. We wouldn't want these adorable faces to be sad now, would we?" Aunt J asks.
The kids shake their heads vigorously.
"Good, so now go inside and play. I will buy you candies and come in some time."
The kids nod and run inside while the lady walks in the opposite directions.

I wake up with a jolt. Was it a dream? But it felt so real. It felt like I was right there. But who were the kids? Who is Aunt J? Why does the boy seem so familiar? And most importantly, why am I dreaming of them?
I check the time and see that it's currently 3 am. I still have fours hours of sleep left. I go to sleep again, but I am not able to sleep. I toss and turn, trying to find a comfortable position to sleep. After some unsuccessful tries, I sit up on the bed. Almost half an hour has passed by. I sigh and wear a jacket, plug in the earphone, and play a song from my playlist. I go up to my roof and lie down. The sky is so beautiful that it blows my mind whenever I look at it.

I don't realize when I fall into a deep sleep. I wake up with sunlight hitting my face. Though I can wake up early in the morning, I hate the sun waking me up in such a manner. I look at my phone, but the battery is dead. God, now I might have to go to school with no phone. Why did it have to be me? I drag myself to my room and put my phone on charging first, then look at the time. It's 6 in the morning. Great, I am awake two hours early.
I know that there's no use in sleeping again, so I go to the bathroom and freshen up doing my morning routine. I wear ripped jeans with an oversized hoodie and do my makeup. I pack my bag and go to the kitchen to heat myself some leftover Mac and cheese. I eat it at a slow pace like I have got all the time in the world and go to get my mobile.
