hello readers!

thank you all so much for reading "spike!!"! i would like to thank you all for every read, vote, comment, and other interactions you have shared to support this book!

i'm an avid anime viewer and i watch a lot of animes. currently, i'm still waiting for haikyuu!! season five, so i re-watched the other four seasons while waiting.

then, the idea for this fanfiction came into my head. i thought shotaro fit the slice of life genre very well and decided to make this story about him, since he is one of my biases in nct!

the reason why i put this as a "haikyuu!! au" and not a "volleyball au" is because i literally put shotaro and my original character in a haikyuu!! alternate universe, rather than making a volleyball themed book where, for example, nct dream was the regular line-up for a volleyball team.

i'm not sure if anyone else has written a fanfiction like this, but from what i could find there was no one who wrote a nct fanfiction with this type of plot. there's probably similar fanfictions in other fandoms though, so i'm wondering if there are any nctzens out here who also watch haikyuu!! or other animes like me!
