Clemont's Got a Secret.

3rd POV

"We made it to Lumiose City!" Ash said. Selene was looking around. "Last time I was here, I didn't have much time to look around." Serena said. Bonnie noticed Selene looked kinda lost. "You good Selene?" Bonnie asked the Pokémon trainer. "I'm good. I haven't really looked around Lumiose City since I wanted to get started on my journey right away!" Zeraora was looking at the tower in the center of town. Selene noticed her partner's gaze. "I heard that there is a gym in Lumiose Tower, is it true?" Ash nodded his head and told them about how he got kicked out of the gym because he didn't have four badges. "That is weird. I wonder why that gym requires four badges." Selene said. "Yeah I had no idea that there were gyms where you needed four badges to challenge them." Serena spoke and agreed. "Well, since that's the way it is here why don't we get out of Lumiose City?" Clemont spoke. "Huh, but we just got here and besides I want to go see the professor before we leave." Selene told the blonde haired boy. "And I've been looking forward to exploring Lumiose City!" 'Why are they acting so weird?' Selene questioned. "We can do that stuff next time!" Bonnie exclaimed. Then Bonnie and Clemont started to push Selene, Ash and Serena. "What are we in such a rush for?" Ash questioned. 

Selene's POV

"If it isn't my Clemont and Bonnie!" We turned around and saw a man with an Ampharos. "Dad!" "Ampharos!" Bonnie and Clemont exclaimed. "Huh! Dad?" Ash, Serena and I asked. Zeraora wasn't very impressed but kept sniffing Ampharos. "Whoa I've never seen this Pokémon before, wait a minute, yes I have!" He then turned to me. "You're Selene the Pokémon Prodigy herself. I thought I'd recognize you and your partner Zeraora." Soon Bonnie and Clemont's dad was standing behind his children. "Uh, let me introduce you." Clemont started out, then Bonnie finished it. "I want you to meet our daddy!" "I'm Meyer, I run an electronics shop in this city along with Ampharos here." Ampharos then gave a friendly sound. "Wow, it's fitting since Ampharos is an electric type." I patted Ampharos on the head and it leaned into it. "You seem to have a knack with Pokémon young lady." Meyer told me, I just blushed and stepped back to Ash and Serena. "And these guys here, are our brand new super, nice friends!" Meyer looked shocked. "Huh!" I guess he was happy that his children made friends. "My name's Ash and this is my partner, Pikachu!" Pikachu then gave a friendly wave. "Oh, Pikachu! Nice looking electric cheeks." Meyer gave Pikachu's cheeks a good rub. "I'm Serena." "And I'm Selene and this is Zeraora." I reintroduced myself. Zeraora stood next to me and waved. "Is Selene your girlfriend Clemont?" I felt my cheeks heat up a bit and I hid behind Zeraora. "It isn't like that." Clemont said while sweatdropping. 

"Daddy, this is Dedenne. It's my new friend." Dedenne gave Meyer a friendly wave. "So you're an electric type as well." Then he turned towards Clemont. "Now you listen to me, son. You should come to the house once in a while." Does he not know Bonnie and Clemont are traveling with us? "But, dad, you see--" "What? Is there some reason you haven't come around?" Clemont's glasses got foggy and Bonnie began to panic. "Well, daddy, we've got things to do, so bye for now." Before Bonnie and Clemont could drag us away again, Meyer spoke. "Wait, Clemont! I've told you this before. It's true you need to be tough on challengers but the alone isn't going to help them become better trainers. You need to be a gym leader the Lumiose Gym can be proud of." What!?" I guess that cat is out of the bag now. Meyer then left with his partner and the siblings looked kind of nervous. "Alright, what's this all about?" Has asked Clemont. "You see, it's like this." Clemont tried to tell us. "Well, we might as well tell them the truth." Clemont nodded in agreement. Soon we were all sitting at a fountain listening to Clemont.

"The truth is that I really am the Gym Leader of the Leader of the Lumiose Gym." Clemont looked really guilty. "Why didn't you just tell us?" Ash asked. "The thing is, I really was planning on telling you eventually. I'm sorry. It's a long story." Clemont then told us that he invented a robot to act as gym leader so Clemont could have more time to himself. The only problem was that the activation code didn't work, so he got booted from his own gym. "And that's why." Whoa that is harsh. "So now you can't get back into your own gym?" Ash asked Clemont. "I keep on trying but Clembot won't let anybody without four Gym Badges enter. Ans he is always out there on the battlefield." I smiled and knelt down in front of Clemont. "We'll we know what to do now." Clemont looked confused. "We need to get into the gym so you can try to reprogram your robot." Clement looked at me and smiled. When we got there there were trainers outside. They were saying what a rip off the gym was, and how nuts it was. Clemont ran up to one of the trainers. "Is there something wrong?" Then the trainer turned around. "You bet there is. It's this gym." Clemont asked the boy if the computer said that he needed four badges to challenge. "Yeah, but that wasn't any problem because I already had four of them." He then told us how Clembot went to far, he zapped the poor kid and then the kid fell through the floor. "I've had enough of this place." One trainer said. And the kid said that he would never come back to the gym again.
