After she was beaten black and blue without even the chance to retaliate, Audrina was shocked.

But above all else, Leona’s ability to manipulate and control TIME was what shocked her the most.

Currently, the only god who can control TIME is the Great God Solstice, he was the previous Supreme God before the Great God Arius snatch the position with brute strength.

Solstice standing in the Immortal Realm is special because he was the previous Supreme God.

Everyone who can wield the element of light wishes to be his disciple.

However, the God Solstice only accepted three disciples under his wings.

One of them is Altair who was also sent to the Mortal Realm along with Audrina.

She wonder what kind of face that haughty bastard would make once he found out that this woman can control TIME.

This is a very important matter because until now, the god Solstice has never announced who his successor is among his three disciples, but rumour has it that the God Solstice already have one in mind.

But if Leona shows up in the picture, then wouldn’t she have the chance to snatch the position of the successor?

Although, all three of Solstice’ disciples were the best of the best, no one can still master the famous Time Control until now.

So it’s understandable why Audrina is very shocked right now.

This woman from the mortal realm.... can control Time! Just like the god Solstice!

“Who are you?” Audrina let out her inner voice. She’s a Lower Goddess of the element of Sound, so she can project her thoughts by manipulating the sound around her and making it her own.

“I ‘am Princess Leona of Solas.”

“And I’m Andromeda.”

Audrina suddenly frown.

Wait a minute.

“You are cultivating the path to Godhood. So why are you with a Demon?” Audrina’s confused inner voice echoed on the place

“We’re friends.” Leona and Andromeda said at the same time.

Audrina was shocked.

Friends?

Demons and Gods are enemies.

And that’s how it’s been for centuries.

So how could these two be friends?

“Anyways, let’s tie her up first before her friends comes.” Andromeda

“W-wait!”

When Audrina regained consciousness, she found herself tied up in a metal chair.

There’s a weird electrical chain tied around her so she can’t move.

“She’s finally awake.” Leona who was playing with a Rubik’s cube, commented upon noticing her small movements.

“Just who are you? Do you know the consequences of your actions today? You are getting in the way of Gods! Gods!” Audrina said angrily

How dare these mortals dare tie her up in a chair.

“You can scream all you want, but no one will come to save you.” Andromeda chillingly said as she polish her sword Kindness.

Audrina suddenly shivered, a-are they going to.... kill her?!

Although she’s a Lower Goddess, she’s not invincible.

With how easy Leona beat her up earlier, wouldn’t she die without a fight if they decided to kill her?

She suddenly regretted coming here.

Why did she even volunteer for this job?

If she knew she’ll meet her doom here, hindi sana sya naging pabibo at nagpresinta na tanggapin ang mission na ito.

I don’t want this job anymore!

“Andromeda, stop scaring her.” Leona

“But isn’t this fun? She look so proud of herself, so seeing her acting like a frightened rabbit is just too funny.” Andromeda

Audrina is sure now.. This woman named Andromeda is a real demon inside and out.

“First of all, we’re not bad guys.” Leona

Audrina is not convince. Sabihin nyo yan kapag hindi na ako nakatali. Baka sakaling maniwala ako.

“You’re probably here in the Mortal Realm because of the issue with Demons, am I right?” Leona

Audrina didn’t respond. But she was shocked. How did they know about that?!

“We can help you, but there’s something we need from you.” Leona

“No! I will never cooperate!” Audrina

Audrina’s heart almost jumped out of her chest when Andromeda suddenly smacked the table loudly.

“Oppss, sorry nadulas lang yung kamay ko. May sinasabi ka ba?” Andromeda said with a smile

“..... I.. I will cooperate.” Audrina

“Good. Akala ko kasi sabi mo hindi eh. Muntik na sana kitang pulbusin.” Andromeda said while laughing like a demon.

“........” Audrina

Gusto nya nang umuwi.

Nakakatakot pala dito sa Mortal Realm huhu.

“Okay, now that we have an agreement, let’s get along well.” Leona

What agreement? Pinilit nyo lang ako! Gusto na talagang maiyak ni Audrina. Bakit parang mas nakakatakot pa dito kesa sa Immortal Realm?

“We will help you with the issue about the demons. We know a lot because we’ve been exterminating them for the past three years.” Leona

Audrina was speechless.

So these two were the famous Nightmare of Demons that she’s been hearing about?

That’s part of their mission.

They were sent here to check the current situation in the Mortal Realm because many demons descended to cause chaos and to also find out the identities of the so called Nightmare of Demons.

Wait.. Doesn’t that mean that she’s currently the only one who made progress with the mission?

So does that mean... Sticking around with these two strange women is the best move?

“I will cooperate with you, so tell me what you want from me.” Audrina

“Oh, it’s simple actually. We just want to know how to cross from here to the Immortal Realm.” Leona

“Huh? That’s all you want?” Audrina was surprised

She thought they will ask for something extravagant. She’s a goddess afterall. And these two are just mortals.

“Yes, that’s all we want.” Leona

“That’s not really going to be a problem. Then I’ll gladly help.” Audrina

“What is this black substance?” Audrina asked curiously as she stare at the cup in front of her.

Leona offered her something to drink and she accepted out of courtesy, but now she’s regretting it. Are they trying to poison her?

“It’s coffee.” Leona

She can smell it’s aroma, which is unfamiliar but tempting.

“Is it really safe to consume? Why is it black? Does it taste good?” Audrina

“Of course. There was even a point in my life when I thought I can’t live without it.” Andromeda

“It’s that good?” Audrina

“Yes.” Leona

“It’s addicting. Thanks to Leona, I can enjoy a cup of coffee everyday even on this life.” Andromeda

“W-wait! Why is it bitter?!” Audrina complains after taking a sip

“At first yes. You can add milk or sugar if you can’t tolerate it’s bitterness.” Leona

“The more you consume, the better it gets.” Andromeda

“Really?” Audrina headed her words and chug down an entire cup of coffee.

“Come to think of it, aside from coffee I also like soymilk. Why don’t you start a new business Leona?” Andromeda

“We don’t have soybeans here.” Leona

“Ha, what a shame.” Andromeda

Leona and Andromeda was startled when Audrina suddenly slammed the table.

“Bat ka nanggugulat?” naiinis na tanong ni Andromeda

“Are you okay?” Leona

“I-is that drink really safe to consume? W-why am I suddenly feeling strange?” Audrina

“Anyare sayo?” Andromeda

“My body feel strange.. Are you sure that coffee is not poisonous? Why is my heart beating rapidly? My head feels dizzy.. And my stomach feels off too.” Audrina

Agad nagkatinginan sina Leona at Andromeda.

“Calm down, I’m a doctor and I’m sure nothings wrong with you. Those are just side effects of consuming caffeine—” Andromeda

“Wait! I know what this is! I’ve read about this in a book!” Audrina interrupted

“Ate ghorl, sinasabi ko sayo, hindi magandang ideya magself diagnose.” Andromeda

“No I’m serious! My heart’s racing, my head is dizzy, my stomach is churning and my face feels hot. These are signs that one has... fallen in love!” Audrina said seriously

“.........” Leona

“.........” Andromeda

“It appears that the reason why I’m still single all these years was because I misunderstood my own sexual orientation!” Audrina exclaimed as if she was suddenly enlightened. Then she held Leona’s hand, “It seems that I have fallen in love with you.”

“........” Leona

“..... pfffft hahahaha.” Andromeda

“I never imagined that I would ever fall inlove like this.” Audrina said solemnly

Leona gave Andromeda a look to ask for help, but Andromeda was too busy laughing to understand her signal.

“Excuse me, bakit ako? Bakit hindi si Andromeda?” Leona

“She’s not attractive enough.” Audrina said seriously

Andromeda who was laughing her ass off, suddenly reacted, “Excuse me?” she said half annoyed, half offended.

Audrina ignored Andromeda and smiled at Leona, “To think that I will someday feel this way. Although I’m clearly prettier, you’re not that bad yourself.”

“.........” Leona was speechless.. Is this woman looking for a fight?

Nagkatinginan sina Leona at Andromeda, nakikita nila sa mata ng isat-isa ang mga katagang- Uupakan na ba natin para manahimik ang isang yan?

Sa bandang huli, pinigilan ni Leona ang sarili na maging violente. “Ehem, listen Audrina, what you’re currently feeling right now is not love.”

“Huh? I’m sure it is.” Audrina

“It’s not. Those are just side effects of consuming coffee. Trust me, I’m a doctor “ Andromeda

“You’re a doctor? Wala sa itsura.” Audrina

Leona has to hold back Andromeda to stop her from killing Audrina.

Leona is actually amazed. Akala nya nakakabwisit na sina Damon at Andromeda. May mas nakakabwisit pa pala kesa sa kanilang dalawa.

“Ehem, like Andromeda said, what you’re feeling right now was the side effect of drinking coffee. You see, coffee has caffeine in it, and caffeine can make your heart beat faster than normal, because of that, blood flows rapidly in your head making you dizzy, and caffeine is also the reason why your stomach is churning. And since this is your first time consuming coffee, your body haven’t develop enough resistance to it yet so you are more susceptible to the side effects.” Leona explained

Audrina looked bewildered, “This magical drink have such adverse effects? Then if I ever want someone from the Immortal Realm to fall for me, I can just feed that person coffee to make them fall?”

“........Well, that’s possible too, seeing your reaction earlier.” Leona

“I can also feel that coffee can energize the body. Or am I just imagining that?” Audrina

“That’s not your imagination, coffee can really do that to the body.” Andromeda

“This is such an amazing drink. Can I bring some with me?” Audrina

“Sure.” Leona

“Anyway, let’s get down to business, shall we?” Andromeda

Audrina nod her head, “Crossing towards the Immortal Realm is actually easy. However, I don’t suggest for you to come along with us.”

“Me? Why not? Is it because I’m a demon and not a god?” Andromeda

“Yes, it will be suicidal for you to appear at Elysium. But if you really want to go to the Immortal Realm, then you can go to Gehenna, that’s the land of Demons.” Audrina

Nagkatinginan sina Leona at Andromeda. So kailangan nilang maghiwalay kung pupunta sila sa Immortal Realm?

“That’s not really a problem.” Sabay na saad nina Leona at Andromeda

Audrina was surprised. Akala nya ay hindi sasang-ayon ang dalawa. The two were friends afterall!

“I wonder who will reach the pinnacle first. You or me?” Andromeda

“Do you want to bet?” Leona

“Why not, I’m sure I will win anyways.” Andromeda

“If I win you have to call me Big Sis.” Leona

“Then if I win you will have to be the younger sister.” Andromeda

“Sure.” Leona
